Universal Laptop Mount Set-up Instructions Part # UT-X Part # UT-X-T Part # UT-X-ATG www.havis.com 1-800-524-9900 UT-X-OMN_0410 Before Beginning Reconfiguring the Universal Laptop Mount Havis is pleased to provide these set-up instructions to aid in the proper instillation of its Universal Laptop Mount (UT-X, UT-X-T, or UT-X-ATG). Havis recommends that the UT-X, UT-X-T, and UT-X-ATG be installed with all four of the Side Hold-down Lugs in place, spaced as far apart as practical to ensure the safest laptop mount configuration. Havis also recommends that the UT-X, UT-X-T, and UT-X-ATG be installed with its Front and Rear Fences in place and that all torque settings be followed (see torque setting references inside Set-up Instructions). Currently, all torque adjusted screws will utilize the T-25 pin-in torx bit and should be installed with a calibrated torque wrench set to 22 inch-pounds of torque, +/- 10 %. NOTE It is important that the UT-X, UT-X-T, and UT-X-ATG be set with the Side Trays and Rear Tray fully extended before beginning installation. Follow the steps below to reconfigure the UT-X, UT-X-T, and UT-X-ATG to its original settings. Completely close the Side Trays by pressing them inward until a “click” is heard. For questions regarding the set-up of your laptop in the UT-X, UT-X-T, or UT-X-ATG, please contact Havis at 1-800-524-9900 or visit www.havis.com for additional product support and information. !
