Wehopeyoufindagoodrangeofactivitiestojoinandenjoythisterm.Theprogrammehasbeensetuptoprovidechildrenwithanopportunitytolearnand
developnewandexistingskills.Wehopethatyouwillagree,wehavetriedtoensurethereisagoodmixtureofactivitiesonoffer.Thistermwehaveadded
manymoreactivities,andhaveaddedmanymorespaces,toensurechildrenhaveabetterchanceofdoingtheactivitiestheywant.
Pleaseensureyoureadtheinformationbelowcarefullyasthisshouldhelpexplainandansweranyquestionsyoumayhave.Howeverifyoufindyoustillneed
tomakeenquiriespleasecontacttheschooloffice.
REGISTRATION
Weareusingtheparents’portalforourregistrationsystem.Youwillhavetoregisteronlineinordertosecureplacesfortheavailableafterschoolactivities.
ASAswillbeallocatedonafirstcomefirstservedbasis.Thesystemwillgo‘live’at4pmonMonday11thAprilandwillcloseatmiddayonFriday15thApril.
Pleasebeawarethatyouwillnotbeabletoaccessthisareaoftheparents’portaleitherbeforeorafterthosetimes.
Thechargesvaryforeachactivitytotakeintoaccountthedifferentresourcesrequired,includingtransport,staffingandhireoffacilities.Pleaseensureyouhave
checkedthecostofeachactivityasyouwillbeinvoicedthisamount.TheminimumcostforanyactivityisRM25.

TRANSPORTFORM
Itisessentialthatparentsfillinthetransportformwhichisattached.Thisincludesdetailsofhowyourchildwilltravelhomeaftertheactivityprogrammeaswell
asanindicationfromparentsthattheyarehappyforstaff,ifrequired,todrivechildrenintheirowntransporttoandfromactivitiesorsportingevents/school
trips.Pleasereturnthistotheschooloffice.
Itistheparents/guardiansresponsibilitytoensurethatchildrenarepickedupontimeaftertheclubs.Forthosechildrenwhotakethebusyouareresponsible
forarrangingthiswiththebusdriver.Anychildrenleftinschool15minutesafterthecollectiontimewillneedtobesignedoutfromtheoffice.
STOPPINGANACTIVITY
Ifachildsignsupforanactivityandthendecidestostoptheactivitypartwaythroughtheterm,therewillbeNOrefundgiven.
LANGUAGELESSONS
IfyourchildhasGermanlessons,theymustattendtheselessonsandshouldchooseactivitiesontheotherdaysintheweek.
TIMINGS
Allclubsrunfrom3pm-4pm.Allchildrenattendingaclubwillneedtogotothehallat2.45pmandwaitquietlyfortheirclubtobegin.Therewillbesupervised
roomsprovidedforchangingforsportsclubs.Childrenwillbeexpectedtochangewithintheroomandtakealltheirbelongingswiththem.
ABSENCE
If your child is at school on a particular day but they will not be participating in an after school activity due to any reason, this information must be relayed
directlytoMissMarie.Thiswaytheregistrationfortheafterschoolactivitieswillbekeptuptodate.
WETWEATHER
In case of wet weather, outdoor clubs will be catered for inside where possible. For offsite sport activities children will be taken into shelter if deemed too
dangeroustocontinue.Parentswillbeinformedasearlyaspossibleifanactivityhasbeencancelledforanyreason.

TheChineseMartialArts(Wushu/KungFu)comprisetechniquesofdefenceandoffence,botharmedandunarmed,basedon
China’sancientphilosophicalheritage.Thusitisthattherealaimofthisartistoinstildiscipline,self-confidenceandamoralcode
thatstressestheprotectionoftheweakandtheembodimentofvirtuessuchasLoyalty,EnduranceandVirtue.
TraininginWushuinvolvesthesolopracticeofbasicexercisesandroutines,andtwo-personwork,bothfreestyleand
choreographed.Equipmentusedincludestrainingweaponswhichareeitherwooden,foamoralloyreplicas,allowingsafe,secure
practice.
ThesyllabusfollowedbytheZhongDingAssociationincludesawiderangeofstylesandapproaches,suchasanimalstyles,soft
evasivesystemsandotherswhicharehardanddirect.Studentsfollowasashgradingsystemfromnovicetoinstructorlevels.As
wellasclasstrainingtherearealsoregularresidentialcoursesattheZhongDingTrainingCentreinBalikPulau.Studentsare

This class introduces a structured environment while allowing children to recognise their own individuality and body mobility. Focus
is on coordination and rhythm introduced in creative and imaginative ways. Keeping students entertained while learning beginning
dance skills will help them to acquire a lifelong love for dance.

Aikido(合気道)isaJapanesemartialartsthatemphasisonbodymovements,relaxationand
leveragepowertocontroltheopponents.Aikidocanbepractisedregardlessofage,gender
orbodybuilt.Itpromotesbloodcirculation,bodyrelaxationandultimatelyimprovethe
practitioners’physicalandmentalhealth.Atthesametime,thepotentialofaikidoasa
meansofself-defenseshouldnotbeignored.Aikidotechniquesarebeingtaughttopolice
