Steve Briere - NHL Goalie Coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs
For the past 30 years Pierre has been
coaching hockey throughout Canada and
the USA. He has worked with players at
every level of experience in A, AA and AAA,
from Mites all the way up to Junior.
Many years ago, he was given the
opportunity to Coach and work with
Guillaume Latendresse, Pierre-Marc
Bouchard, Alexandre Burrows, Cam Baker, Francis Bouillon and Maxim
Lapierre. These names may sound familiar as all of them have played or
currently play in the NHL!
Coach Frenchy, as everyone knows him, started out as a Player
in Juniors and University, playing for the Junior Louisveille Loups in
Louisveille, QC and moving on to the Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres
(UQTR), where he earned a Degree in Sports Business Management.
He then went on to Coach the Montreal Vipers AAA and Granby
Predateurs of the QMJHL along with the Roanoke Express and Knoxville
Ice Bears of the ECHL. He then took up residency in Colorado where he
worked with local teams in Aspen, Hyland Hills and Boulder in the WSHL.
Coach Frenchy joined the Canadian Professional Hockey Family for
his first season of camps in the Summer of 2015 and has proved to be
a wonderful asset to the team. His connection with the players and
knowledge of the game is first class and we are proud and excited to have
his work ethic and enthusiasm on board! He currently resides in Palm
Beach, FL, where he Coaches the Palm Beach Hawks, U16 team.
Throughout his many years of involvement with hockey, Coach
Frenchy has built a stellar reputation, not only with coaching but also
with his mentoring skills. In 2011 he became a Certified Life Coach which
goes hand in hand with coaching hockey. Not only does he develop
players on the ice, he also teaches each and every player important
LIFE LESSONS off the ice. His mission is to teach each individual
what it takes to become a better human being.

• Six hours of off ice goaltender evaluation
• Three hours of classroom and personality testing
• Each goaltender will have a personalized video library created to
be used to present to coaches of interest anywhere at any time

college scouts
Goaltending Camp
• Designed by Steve Briere, NHL Goalie Coach, to accommodate
a variety of skill levels. Each level of Goaltender will work on
different drills.
• Focus on proper save technique and selection
• Twelve to fifteen hours on-ice instruction
• Eight to ten hours of video analysis and dry land training
• Use of various goalie props for added learning
• Drills incorporated with Players to allow for game like situations
• Hard hat and lunch box for hardest working Goaltender
Elite Goaltending Camp
• Designed for the top level goaltender looking to make it to
juniors, college and beyond
• Five day highly intense all inclusive residential camp
• Scouts and coaches from college, juniors, NHL
• Fishing trips and golfing trips each week
• Stretching, workouts and over all goaltending manual for all
goalies in attendance
• All drills created to simulate game situations
