Directions: Over the summer, select a book from at leas[ one box from each row to read plus
you must do the g * boxes for a total of 7 boxes. Write the title and author of the book you
read in that box. Select 1 of your fiction books and fill out the story map for it. Do the activity
pages at the end of the Z stories for the * boxes. When done, have your parent sign this paper
and return it with your story map and aetiviW pages to your 8rd grade teacher in the fall.
All students are expected to do this summer reading challenge and will receive their 1st Pine
Tree credit for turning in this paper, the story map and the 2 activity pages. Those that choose
to do all 15 boxes will also earn a reading tag for their Sheiko Leadership key chain.
The time spent on this reading can also count towards the WBTPL Summer Reading.
