Thank you to everyone that participated in the
Soup Supper either by donating food or attending…..or both. RSVP raised over $900 at this
event. These funds will be used to purchase
Volunteer Insurance. I continued to be
overwhelmed by the support for RSVP. Last year
Jerry Meidinger said, “We bring food, pay to eat
it, and have a great time doing it!” Plans are
being made for next year’s Soup Supper which will
be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Range
Riders Hall. Mark your calendar!

BEER BREAD PARMESAN
Bill & Roseann Raschkow brought this bread to the Soup Supper and we
had several requests for the recipe. Thanks to Bill & Roseann for sharing.
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 (12-ounce) can beer, at room temperature
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder,
salt, and cheese in a large bowl and mix well. Add the beer and stir just until
moistened. Pour the batter into a 5-by-9 inch loaf
pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for
35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Turn the loaf
onto a wire rack. Yield: 1 loaf
It is critical that we get your
volunteer time so please do
everything that you can to turn in
your hours even if it is only one
hour or a ½ hour it all adds up
and makes a difference!
Timesheets must be signed by
the Volunteer Workstation
Supervisor prior to being turned
into the RSVP office. If you have
questions please give me a call.
Workstation supervisor’s turn the
hours in to me. It is your
responsibility to document your
hours at the workstation.
Also, RSVP’s year is from
April 1—March 31 and I must
have all hours for that period of
time prior to April 24th to complete
accurate grant reporting.
