The right tool for the job
Hiace has been developed with functionality in mind
– it’s great to use and will fit seamlessly into your
working life. With extra usable cargo space and a
design based on flexibility, Hiace is engineered to help
reduce your operating costs.
In all likelihood you’re working multiple jobs throughout the
day and that’s where the choice of twin rear doors or a high-lift
tailgate comes into its own. They open wide or high to enable
you to load and unload without getting in the way. In fact
two standard Euro pallets can be easily loaded into 300 long
wheelbase models.

Hiace features excellent balance between payload and load
volume to create a highly space-efficient cargo area. Hiace can

suspension which ensures fine ride and handling

A safer place to work
Hiace has been built with safety in mind.
In fact, you will not find many vans of this
class which exceed Hiace’s level of safety
features.
Hiace is equipped with many features which
have, until now, been the preserve of passenger
cars. Its array of active and passive safety features
helps keep you in confident control and provides
occupant protection in the event of an accident.
Fully independent suspension allows safe handling
and power steering, a standard feature, gives great
manoeuvrability.
Tough outside, secure inside
Hiace safety begins with a strong body structure.
It’s tough enough to help prevent intrusion by
external objects into the cabin during a crash. And
to help disperse the energy created in a collision,
Hiace incorporates front crumple zones.
A safer place to work
Accidents can easily occur in busy urban areas and
anything that keeps your business on the road can
be invaluable. Hiace provides a wide and clear
field of view for the driver with a large, swept
windscreen. Even drivers of a shorter stature
will enjoy this level of visibility due to the provision
of a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a standard
feature.
When driving at night, Hiace also features
innovative, new multi-reflector headlamps that
are especially designed to improve visibility. The
upper beams reach further than ever before, while
the lower beams spread out even wider, giving the
driver both a longer and broader field of vision.
That makes being at the wheel of the Hiace an even
safer business.
Heated, electrically adjustable door mirrors are
standard on all models, giving you great all-round
vision.
On the inside of Hiace, there’s a full-size driver’s
airbag as standard. Steel side impact beams in
both front doors provide even greater security
and seat belt pre-tensioners will keep you safely
restrained in the event of an impact. The seat
frames themselves are reinforced for added
strength.
In addition, seat belt force limiters for both
driver and outer passenger are fitted on Hiace as
standard.
ABS
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps
to prevent the wheels from locking up and
causing a slide when braking on slippery
surfaces.
Front seat belt pre-tensioners
Together with the SRS airbags, these help to
maximise safety, while reducing the likelihood of
chest injuries.
Multi-reflector headlamps
Hiace is equipped with newly designed headlamps
that enhance the driver’s field of vision.

Functionality and flexibility are crucial in business. Toyota transport

big carrying capacity of your Hiace.
The Toyota roof rack system is available in three, four and five
bar versions according to whether you drive the short or long
wheelbase Hiace. Its aerodynamic aluminium design is easy to
install, lockable and can be combined with a great range of
optional attachments for specialised needs.
Among the most popular attachments is a heavy-duty load
platform. In turn, this is supplied with a roll-on ladder system
that makes loading, carrying and unloading ladders simpler and
very much safer.
Fixed or flanged hitches increase flexibility even further by
giving your Hiace up to 2000 kg towing capacity. Both designs

The Barracuda bicycle carrier combines with two bars of
the Toyota 3 or 4 bar roof racks (5 bar system available on
300 models only) and has a moulded profile to firmly grip
the bicycle’s wheels. It features a unique anti-theft system
protecting both the holder and bicycle.
For those busy schedules when it’s good to take your own
refreshments with you the cool box will keep food and drinks
either piping hot or deliciously chilled. It plugs into the 12V
accessory socket and has a shoulder strap for easy carrying
when away from your vehicle.

Making a good impression is all important in business. Recognising this,

Even with the manoeuvrability of the Hiace, you’ll find the
Toyota parking aid system a big help in avoiding the bumps
and scrapes of parking and reversing. The system’s four rear
sensors automatically activate when you engage reverse gear.
These link to an in-cabin alarm that becomes progressively
louder the closer you get to an obstacle. It’s like having an
extra pair of eyes to guide you.
The Toyota Bluetooth® hands-free system gives you the
convenience and added safety of comprehensive voice
recognition commands including voice operated dialling.
There’s nothing to beat the unique design of Toyota alloy
wheels for that extra touch of individuality. Each wheel is
precision engineered to ensure exactly the right balance of
strength, low weight and durability.
In turn, replacing one nut on each wheel with a Toyota
hardened steel locking wheel nut (not shown) maximises alloy
wheel security. The combination of a rounded profile and
coded key makes the locks virtually impossible to remove with
a conventional spanner.

So, in preparation for the unexpected, Hiace accessories include
essentials such as a warning triangle, reflecting jacket, fire
extinguisher and first-aid kit.
For complete protection of your seats the tailored, waterproof
covers are as durable as they are comfortable – they’re
washable too!
The Hiace alarm system offers Thatcham Category 1 rated
protection for your vehicle. With cabin ultrasonic sensors and
parametric protection for doors and bonnet, the system offers
additional peace of mind.
For tailgate models, the sturdy, steel grille will deter the
opportunist thief, but it is unobtrusive when seen in the rearview mirror.

The Babysafe offers comfort and protection for babies from
birth up to around 15 months (to 13 kg). It attaches via the
3-point seat belt and has an adjustable canopy to protect
against the sun and wind. Please note that the Babysafe seat
is not compatible with the passenger airbag option.
Duo Plus is for children of between 8 months and 4 years
(approximately 9 to 18 kg). It uses the outer 3-point seat belt
to securely fix on the outside passenger seat.
Added safety for your younger passengers is provided by the
superb Toyota child restraint system range.

The Kid seat is for children of between 3 and 12 years

Access Toyota is a finance plan that puts you in control. You
don’t have to worry about finding a large deposit as you agree
the amount of deposit that you want to pay and choose your
repayment term from 2 to 3 years.
What makes Access Toyota different is that Toyota Financial
Services (TFS) give your vehicle the security of a guaranteed
future value (GFV) which is your optional final payment,
deferred to the end of the agreement. Affordable monthly
payments are yours to enjoy as your repayments are based on
the vehicle selling price less your deposit and the GFV/optional
final payment, plus the cost of borrowing.
In addition, you can have reassurance against the risk of a fall in
used vehicle prices, knowing the minimum amount your Toyota

Every new Toyota comes with a three-year/60,000-mile
manufacturer’s warranty, covering your vehicle against the
unlikely event of a manufacturing defect causing a mechanical
fault. It includes coverage for paint and surface rust for three
years, unlimited mileage and a 12-year anti-perforation warranty.
After the initial warranty period has ended, you can extend your
warranty until the vehicle is seven years old – choosing from
a range of packages to suit your vehicle and your needs. All of
our warranties cover the main component parts of the vehicle◊,
meaning that you pay for nothing beyond routine servicing and
maintenance, so there are no unexpected bills to pay.
Toyota Accident Assistance
At Toyota, we believe that our customers deserve the best
possible vehicle. Therefore if you are involved in an accident,
one call to Toyota Accident Assistance will get you back on the
road again, whilst we take care of liaising with your insurer and
arranging for your vehicle to be repaired. By making us your
first call, we will ensure your vehicle is repaired by Toyota to
factory standards, meaning no compromise to your warranty
or residual value.
Toyota Approved Used Vehicle Scheme
All Toyota Approved Used vehicles come complete with a predelivery inspection, a mileage check, 12 months’ warranty, RAC
breakdown cover, Club Toyota membership** and a 30-day
vehicle exchange plan.
Recycling Toyota End-Of-Life Vehicles
We offer a free vehicle take back scheme through our appointed
