What do you get when you take 7 days and cram into it a pancake breakfast for 75, sports for a
couple hundred, a scavenger hunt, 9 gallons of ice cream, a basement full (and I mean FULL) of
caffeine filled coffee house addicts, a couple hundred college students worshipping before filling
themselves with fried Oreos, 4 kegs of root beer, 120 torch bearing early risers chanting across
campus, and 550 lbs of two pigs that were cooked for 12 hours and consumed by over 600 hungry
college students? You get CCF’s version of O Week 2015! This is where relationships are forged.
This is the week that returning students anticipate most of the summer. This is the week we do our
best to welcome the new freshmen and transfer students into the Fellowship and do our best to begin the semester and school year on a note of
love and meeting their physical needs for fun and food so that they
know where to come to fill their spiritual needs and their fellowship

needs. If I may borrow a familiar phrase, this was, without a doubt, the
“Best Ever” Opening week!
Christian Campus Fellowship exists to reach non believing students, nurture fellowship among believers, deepen knowledge of
and love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to encourage one another to serve and worship God.

8th Annual Pumba & 1st Alumni Luau Brunch
We had our first ever alumni brunch the morning of Pumba this year and it was great to see so many of you in Rolla for a
time of catching up and enjoying some foods! We plan to invite you all back again this coming fall again so mark August on
your calendars to come back for that busy and wild weekend to enjoy some fellowship with fellow alum along with the evening Pumba festivities. On that note, this year’s Pumba was a huge success and by huge I mean that we had well over 600 folks
over for dinner this year! As a ministry major in college, math wasn’t really a thing, but you can imagine what happens when
you put that many people in the CCH. Let me
give you some help—it doesn't work! We had
people in the House, we had people in the front
yard, we had people in the side street which the
City of Rolla so graciously allows us to close for
the day, we had people everywhere! This year for
the second year in a row, we even had South
Central Dairy over with their ice cream truck !
This year’s 8th annual Pumba Luau is so far
from where it began and it is all thanks to the
help from those of you who help financially to
cover the cost of this outreach event and thanks
to the hard work of all of you and the current
students who give so much of their time to pre-
pare, cook, and cut the pigs. Over the years, our
reputation has continued to improve from great
to even better on campus and folks know what we stand for—Jesus—and that we want to love them and provide for their physical needs which in turn allows us opportunities throughout the year to fill their spiritual needs and share the Good News of
the Gospel with them. Make sure to include the alumni brunch and the Luau in your plans for next fall!
