SPECIAL WINTER EDITION
2010-2011
!!!!!!! !
MAYOR
I hope that everyone had the opportunity to come out to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our Bensalem Community Pride.
This day could not have been possible without the generous sponsor support as well
as all the hard work from our volunteers. I extend a very gracious thank you for your
continued support and commitment to Bensalem Township.
It goes without saying that sponsorship is an important part of our abilities to provide
such a wonderful event for our residents however, all successful events have people behind
the scenes. This magnificent event was again a “job well done” by those who participated
in the planning, physical labor as well as the implementation of the days activities. Your
commitment to our Township is truly commendable.
As you review our winter activity guide, it is my hope that you will find programs and
activities that your family will enjoy. Hopefully, our upcoming winter season will not be as
harsh as last season. Regardless, please be mindful of road conditions when traveling so
that you remain safe.
In closing, I hope that this upcoming holiday season is kind to each and everyone.
I wish you and your family a New Year filled with health, love, happiness and prosperity.

This year’s Fall Festival and fireworks display was a perfect end to record breaking
summer concert and movie night series. I would like to thank all those who supported our
concerts and movie nights. What a fantastic ending to one season and a superb way to
welcome another. My thanks to all our sponsors, business partners, volunteers and
residents for their support in making our 20th Anniversary of Community Pride such a
pleasurable day. None of our endeavors would be possible without the commitment and
support of our Bensalem community.
I extend a special thank you to all staff members for the long hours and hard work that
went into making this anniversary celebration such a successful community event. Once
again, your commitment and dedication was clearly evident in the success of the day.
As you review our activities bulletin, it is our hope that you find an activity which will
bring enjoyment to you and your family. If we have failed to provide an activity of interest
