Message from the Board
Fellow Boosters;
As we pass the half way mark in the year I am very happy to report that the
booster family has been able to support the Athletic Department’s entire “Wish
List”. The list is an accumulation of items that the budget does not cover but
are still key items to the success of the school. This list, with a total cost of almost $50,000 this time, included an ice machine used for injuries, impact software that helps in the rehabilitation of athletes, essential equipment and uniforms and seed money for the baseball team to raise funds for their summer
baseball camp for underprivileged youth.
I am especially pleased that the boosters could provide the funds in a year
that has seen our profits down, our membership down and an economy that is
challenging to us all. We have also set aside an additional amount of money in
anticipation of opening a multi-purpose facility in the stadium that we feel
would help generate revenue from additional food and Wildcat Wear sales.
As we head toward the end of this year, please consider a possible commitment to the booster for the following year as a member and/or as a volunteer.
Positions are always available from volunteering for a single event to a seat on
the board as a chairperson or co-chair. Remember, the Boosters are nothing
without your support.

NVHS BOOSTERS CAN HELP
STUDENTS GET NEEDED COMMUNITY
SERVICE HOURS !
Community Service Graduation Endorsement –All students are
encouraged to complete an approved practicum of community service.
Those who complete 30 hours of community service will have that accomplishment noted on their official transcript. See counselors for
verification forms, details, and ideas for service opportunities and to
have service noted on the transcript.
As you may or may not know, THE NVHS BOOSTER CLUB provides
additional support to the Neuqua Athletics program. Without it, Wildcat wear and concessions at athletic events would not be possible.
Last year, the Booster Club provided $30,000 for equipment our athletes wouldn’t have otherwise received as well as contributions to
Senior Spectacular, the Schlegel 5K Run to name a few and 6
scholarships to our students!
There are many opportunities throughout the year for student volunteers to obtain community service hours while
helping to support Neuqua athletics. Jobs can include set up
for concessions, fundraisers, golf outings, etc.
SIGN UP FOR OUR VOLUNTEER LIST NOW SO THAT YOU CAN BE
CALLED ON AS NEEDED AND KEEP UP WITH YOUR COMMUNITY
SERVICE HOURS. SIGN UP AND WORK WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

You don't have to be an athlete, or involved in any clubs, you just have to be a student at Neuqua Valley.
It’s a great way to show your “Wildcat Pride”.
“Pride Signs” are personalized just for you with your name and the year you will graduate printed on the
sign, no stickers, no magic markers. These signs can also be personalized even further if you want.
For example if you're in drama, Student Council, or BPA or you are part of an athletic team, we have a
sticker you can buy to add to your sign. We have more than 40 stickers for you to choose from for just
about every activity. (Complete list on back)
So show your “Pride” and be the first to purchase a “Pride Sign”.A sample of this sign can be see at
Wildcat Wear, there will also be a list of all the additional stickers that will be available.
Your “Pride Sign” can be displayed in a garden or yard, the step stake is included. This sign is yours to keep.
