On August 1, 2006 Ultimate Appearance, Ltd. was sold. I retired for the second time.
Thus I no longer perform auto detailing service or sell the detail products. Thru the detailing service Dale and I have come to meet, make friends of the Z membership. I will
always make the Z club a part of my life. I will be around to help will my detail knowledge and deliver auto detailing articles via email. Just give me a call (255-2620) if you
would like a subject written. Tidewater Z Car Service has picked up the auto detailing

Paul Hollander called the meeting
to order at 8:00pm, welcomed everyone and introduced the visitors.
He turned the meeting over to vice
president Todd Wagner who introduced the officers. The July minutes were passed as written and the

Doingz of the Z Car Association of Richmond
The meeting started Monday, 8/21/06, at 7:47pm with 19
members and 2 guests in attendance at Lone Star Steakhouse. Officers were introduced and noted that the secretary and treasurer were unable to attend this month’s meeting. There are 46 current Richmond ZCAR members.
Last Event: July’s summer picnic at Rockahock campground
was fun with 15 members attending to eat, sing, and be
merry. Feats of acrobatic entertainment was performed by
MB. Randy played guitar for us to all sing along. Nick took
several photos of the vehicles on the grounds. Everyone
received a door prize. Shelley McNeece shared her pictures

Next Event: August’s event will be in Bealton, VA for the
Flying Circus Airshow. Theo sent out a flyer that Ron put
together for this trip. Here is the show’s website for more

This event looks to be quite exciting and hopefully the
weather will hold up as well.
Future Events, more details to come: October 1 is the State
Fair parade. Parking is secure and away from public parking, free admission. October 22 Ztoberfest is the annual car
show taking place at Victory Nissan. Members who renew
at this event enjoy a $10 off their 2007 membership. November is the fall foliage tour. December 9th we will wrap
up the year with the annual holiday party. This year there
will be rules around the gift exchanges.
Tidewater Z Events extended to Richmond: September 10
TZCC’s yearly Pig Pickin’ at Todd Wagner’s home. Theo sent
out a flyer via email and attendees are asked to bring a side
dish. Seven slots left as of 8/20 for the Test & Tune event,
part of the TZCC and TSCC ‘Weekend at Z Beach’, held
9/16-17. Please contact Jim Setzer (jsetzer@verizon.net)
directly if you plan to participate. Theo has also communi-
cated this through email on 8/21. Angela Brown will also host
her annual Halloween bonfire. This year it will be held on a
Saturday, 9/28. Come and stay as late as you want, bring a tent
though!
Other business included new red polo shirts can be purchased.
Aleta modeled for all to see the new apparel arrival.
Please let Theo or other officers know of any suggestions for
meeting place for 2007. Previous years have included River City
Diner, Famous Dave’s BBQ, and this year’s Lone Star Steakhouse.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30pm with the door prize winner
Dale and Nick winning $46 from the 50/50. With quick thinking from Sabrina, Dave bought more than one 50/50. The car
talk continued outdoors by the row of beautiful Z cars in the
parking lot.

Z—Car Parts
I am John Riddlesberger. I live in Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania. For a number of years I have had in my possession 240
Z's and have collected parts for them. I have decided that I must finally sell all the Z stuff that I have because it is overwhelming and my interests have shifted elsewhere.
I have one 1972 240Z with an engine that needs a new head gasket and a dint on one of the fenders. Otherwise it is complete. A sunroof was installed at some point along the way. I have the remains of another Z which was in an accident. It is a
1971 240 Z. This Z has had the engine removed and has extensive front end damage. As for the parts, there are too many
to list here. I have body parts, seats, and scads of assorted parts, meters, etc. I would like to sell everything as a whole for
$2500.
If possible, and you get this message before tonight's meeting, I would be greatly obliged and grateful if you could announce
this at the meeting. My number is 717-486-7966 (h) and 717-576-3240 (c). The email address from which I am writing you is
one I don't use often at this time of year as I am a teacher at Carlisle High School and am not at my computer more than once
a week.
If an announcement is not possible, I would like to put an add in your newsletter that I seem to remember you guys mail out
monthly. I was a member of your club a good 10+ years ago when I was really into the Z thing.
