High performance heat transfer oils
Highly refined base stock
Mobiltherm™ 600 Series heat transfer oils are high
performance lubricants intended for use in closed
indirect heating installations. They are formulated
from base stocks that are resistant to thermal
cracking and chemical oxidation.
Efficient heat transfer
The oils provide efficient heat transfer and their
viscosities are such that they can be pumped readily
at both start-up and operating temperatures.
Their resistance to thermal cracking also ensures
that the flash points of these oils will not
significantly decrease at their recommended
operating temperatures.*
Mobiltherm 600 Series oils are recommended for
use in both closed and open, cold-oil sealed,
indirect heating and cooling systems in all kinds of
industrial processes. They are thermally stable and
are capable of an extremely long service life
without deposit formation or viscosity increase.
Wide operating range
Depending on formulation, Mobiltherm 600 Series
oils have an operating temperature range of -7
to 315oC for closed systems and -7 to 180oC for
open systems.

The series includes Mobiltherm™ 603,
Mobiltherm™ 605, Mobiltherm™ 610 and

* If the oils are used above their recommended maximum temperatures,
vapour lock may result unless the system is pressurising with an inert
gas such as nitrogen.
