Subjected to an event that is not Davit Master’s fault, such as, but not limited to, damaged caused by accident, misuse, overloading, negligence, alteration, modification, or abusive operation. Subjected to an event that is not Davit Master’s fault, such as, but not limited to, damaged caused by improper product selection, improper installation, failure to follow applicable installation and maintenance recommendations, failure to follow applicable operational instructions or warnings. Subjected to lift dead weight in excess of Davit Master’s stated rating capacities. Altered or repaired by anyone not authorized by Davit Master during the term of this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty shall not include the cost of labor for the repair, replacement, removal, or reinstallation of any product covered herein. Such costs shall be the sole responsibility of Buyer. At its option, Davit Master may repair or replace the defective product. Repaired or replaced products are warranted for the remaining portion of this original Limited Warranty period at the time the product was purchased by the Buyer. This Limited Warranty shall not cover any incidental and/or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damages resulting from any adverse weather conditions, acts of God or other causes not due to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of the product; damage to property, loss of use, loss profits or expenses for inconvenience. This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. No agent, employee, or representative of Davit Master has authority to bind Davit Master to any affirmation, representation or warranty concerning Davit Master’s products except as stated herein. Any Warranty implied by law, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is in effect only during the duration of the express warranty set forth herein. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. This Warranty shall be construed pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida. To submit a warranty claim, buyer shall contact Davit Master Customer Service at 1-800-878-5560 to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. In order to process a claim the following information is required: proof of purchase, product model, load weight, dealer name and date of installation, operation and service history, clear and concise statement of basis for the warranty claim. Product must be returned to Davit Master Corp., 5560 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, FL 33760, freight prepaid, within the period of this Limited Warranty. Davit Master products are not for lifting human beings. Product installation must meet all applicable electrical codes, be wired by a licensed electrician, be properly grounded and have ground fault protection. All routine maintenance is the owner’s responsibility and is not covered by this warranty.
