On-site First Aid will be available for any incidents provided by MI Safety in the main parking
lot.
We would like to thank MI Safety Inc for providing First Aid Standby for our race on May 28th at
Sunridge Ski Club. MI Safety Inc provides Emergency, Standard, AED/CPR and Health Care
Provider First Aid training every week in Edmonton, and Devon. MI Safety Inc has provided first
aid services in Edmonton for 12 years, they are an Authorized Provider of Canadian Red Cross
First Aid Training. The Alberta Bicycle Association requires that two first aid attendants are at
every sanctioned race. This is to ensure that all racers are kept safe, a typical race has its share
of crashes, including scrapes, cuts, and sprains. Depending on the day, heat exhaustion is a
possibility. We want to ensure that the races are kept fun and every one goes home safely! If
you would like to update your first aid training, book first aid training at www.misafety.ca.
The closest Hospital is Strathcona Community Hospital, located at 9000 Emerald Drive in
