It is our goal to offer systems and services which

ensure optimum production processes. Here we
orient ourselves on three central criteria:

Experience and know-how as the basis. Graficon Maschinenbau AG was established in 1992.
“Customer proximity” and the consistent orientation of products and services to specific customer
requirements were the first priority from the very beginning. Accordingly we have systematically
expanded our product range over the years:
Functionality: We gear our services (development, maintenance/service) to the customer benefit. Thanks to the experience of our employees and the know-how which we have
developed with innovations, we can cover all functions which
are important for printing and finishing labels and packaging.

Digital print
Flexo and Offset print
The PUMA R is a digital printer (UV inkjet) with integrated
processing and finishing options. The PUMA iR and PUMA iT
can also be integrated in existing printing machines.
As BOBST representative for narrow-web multi-process
printing and converting machines in Germany, Austria and
Switzerland, we have access to a large product portfolio of
flexo and offset printing machines.

Graficon components
Graficon‘s components cover a broad spectrum
of print, processing and finishing technologies
for the labelling and packaging industry. Sheet
cutters, booklet solutions, digital print, screenprinting units and accessories all flow into
solutions for expanding and complementing
your existing machinery.
PUMA iT / PUMA iR
The digital printer can be integrated in a
Graficon T200 or Gallus T180 / T200 label
printing machine as well as in a RPS220,
Gallus R160 or R200 rotary machine.
The PUMA iT / iR is a low-cost, entry-level digital print
solution. It lets you enjoy the tried-and-tested technology of
your existing machinery and the advantages of digital print.
You can continue using your existing tools. This combination
enables you to print, finish and process labels all inline.

BSM 340
The sheeting machine is used to cut single labels or sheets
from reels. A printed or a non-printed substrate from reels
can be cut into sheets lengthwise and/or crosswise. Lengthcutting is done by pneumatically operated crush-knives.
Cross-cutting is done by upper and lower knives.
The cutted sheets fall on a conveyor belt of approx. 1.5
meters. The number of sheets per pile can be preselected.
After having reached the number of sheets the web advances
time controlled.

Booklet unit for Gallus R160/R200
The booklet section from Graficon can be integrated in a
label-printing machine type Gallus R160 or R200. The prefabricated booklets (printed and folded) will be dispensed
inline onto the web, which is printed in the machine, and
over-laminated, or as an option glued. In the rotary die-cutting unit (usually existing) they will be die-cut, the matrix
will be removed and the final product rewound.

Screenprinting unit
Format cutting unit
Graficon‘s screenprinting unit can be integrated in Graficon and
BOBST* machines. This gives you the opportunity to retrofit your machines to print multi-process labels. The unit can be installed in the
flexo-head with a transport trolley and connected with the machine
simply by one compressed air hose.
With Graficon’s format cutting unit you can accurately cut the stencil
material from the roll to the sheet in the required format width
and length. This makes your production independent and flexible.
The format cutting unit can cut all standard stencil materials.

With Graficon‘s stencil welding unit, you can convert the exposed
stencil from sheet into a cylinder yourself, providing you with a
more flexible production. The stencil welding unit can be used with
standard stencil-materials and most machine systems.
With Graficon‘s stencil mounting unit, you can easy, fast and
accurately fix the end-rings to the welded stencil and at the
same time precisely align the two gears to each other.
The stencil mounting unit can accept standard stencil materials.

Screen Cleaner
With Graficon’s Screen-Cleaner you can wash-out the ink and
clean the rotary-screen stencils inside and outside after printing
is completed. This allows you to store the stencils properly and
clean, ready to be used again.
