Up to 30,000 Audio tracks are stored locally on the computers hard drive. The customer inserts coins and selects tracks via a drag and drop style touch screen. These songs are then played through the locations sound system or through the on board amplifier situated within the machine. Content is updated via a DVD or online via the internet. In addition millions of tracks can be searched through and downloaded by the customer directly from the central server. It is possible to manually adjust the machines program whilst at the Jukebox or make changes to many of the settings via the OPWEB™ site remotely. In addition to a vast choice of music the VenueHub technology also offers Bingo, Quiz, RSS Feeds, Apps and advertising facilities. Operation The customer selects tracks by means of a touch screen interface. Tracks are organised into Main Categories (such as Seventies Music) The customer makes a selection by touching the screen on a selected category or track To view further pages the customer can use the arrows or simply swipe the screen in the direction that they wish to search. To make a selection the customer inserts money and simply double taps the song on the screen. Alternatively the track can be dragged to the orange coloured play box. After been asked to confirm the selection the song is added to the play list. At any time the customer can return to the main category page and add additional songs to their playlist. Track Preview Once a track has been dragged into the play box the customer can press and hold the Preview screen to allow up to 15 seconds of the track to be previewed to ensure it is the track that they want to play. Recommended Tracks Once a track has been confirmed to play the Jukebox will automatically recommend further tracks that are often selected by customers who have listened to that artist. Local Search Methods There are four main ways in which a song can be searched by the customer, By searching through a main music category, By pressing the SEARCH button and using the search by Artist, by Track or by Date Artist Suggestions Artist suggestions are displayed to the customer as they search by ARTIST. As soon as they have typed in 3 letters the VenueHub will try to assist in finding the required artist. 2 VenueHub : Sound Leisure On Line Search Methods When enabled by activating the UNLIMITED TIMERS found under the INTERNET FEATURES heading in the engineers menu the customer can search through millions of tracks that are stored on a central server. This option is browsed through in the same way as the local search. Categories The main categories show the Genres of music available to the customer. The number and type of genres available depends upon the profile that has been loaded onto the machine. NOTE: when the online search facility is enabled the VenueHub profile cannot be adhered too. Search by Artist This allows the customer to search for an Artist (local or online) Once a chosen artist has been found they then have the option to view the most popular tracks by that artist, A-Z search or view the tracks in date of release order Search by Track This allows the customer to search for a specific track (local search) Search By Date Gives the customer the option to select any date from 1960 to present day (Date of Birth, Wedding Anniversary etc.) and will show the official Top 40 on the chosen date Service Menu (Collectors / Engineers Menus) When the jukebox door is opened two menus appear on the Screen. Collectors Menu Engineers Menu Collectors Menu Touch the ‘Collectors Menu’ button on screen to enter the ‘Collectors Menu’, the contents of which can be set up in the engineer’s menu using the ‘Menu Setup’ option. OPWEB™ The OPWEB™ system is used as the web portal for Milestones and VenueHub based Jukeboxes that are online. The website displays income, updates, On Off times etc. In addition to this the website will provide interactive functionality with the Jukebox allowing you to change BGM, P.O.P, Profile, remote reboot etc. A secure sign on page greets the visitor. This password-protected entrance can provide different levels of access to different employees in your organisation – so only certain pages are visible to certain staff. Once signed in the initial view is of the company’s whole estate of online jukeboxes. 3 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Sites named by list – with installation dates – income growth – sites weekly average and estate average. The current connected status is displayed REAL TIME- and the last update taken by the sites jukebox is detailed. By clicking on the actual site name – the individual site data screens can be accessed for deeper analysis and remote jukebox configuration. For more details on the OPWEB™ system please contact Sound Leisure Sales or Soundnet. Workshop Preparation & Internet Connectivity NOTE : The VenueHub must be kept ONLINE at all times to ensure that it receives it’s scheduled music and program updates. Chart music is delivered on a Monday evening and albums and core tracks are delivered on Thursdays. To enable you to test and prepare the VenueHub for site it should be connected to the internet. There are Four ways that this can be done: • • • • ADSL – Via a router and CAT5 cable ADSL - Via Wi-Fi connection (Edimax EW7711 USN Wireless USB drivers available on machine) 3G modem – plugged directly into the VenueHub PC MiFi – WiFi connection via a 3G router Failure to test the internet operation prior to site installation may result in difficulties when the actual installation takes place. The most secure and efficient method of connecting to the internet is by wired ADSL via a router. Both 3G and WI-FI systems can be problematic at times. If the Wi-Fi option has to be used it is recommended that prior to the installation taking place the Wi-Fi status is checked in the venue at the position where the jukebox is to be installed. This is done by taking a WI-FI equipped product such as an iPad, Laptop PC, smart phone or similar product to site to check the reception status. If there is no broadband in the venue and neither you nor the venue owner wish to install it a 3G modem or Mi-Fi may well be the solution. The national and area coverage must be checked in the first instance as there is no certainly of national coverage. Online Connection It is recommended that a connection is made to the internet and the online server prior to the machine being installed. This simplest way of doing this both in the Workshop and on-site is to use a standard ADSL connection via a router. Connect a CAT5 lead between the Jukebox computer network port and the internet router first. ADSL Connection Location: Engineers menu/Internet Features/Server The procedure is as follows: Press Server. Select Server and the screen will display “Server System”. Press Continue. Press “Setup The Internet”. A warning screen will appear, Press OK. Assuming you are using a hard-wired connection, select “ADSL Using a router”. Select “Check the Internet connection”. The Google home page will be displayed if connection 4 VenueHub : Sound Leisure is made. In the top right hand corner of the screen will be displayed “Close Window”. Touch this to return to Internet Setup. Touch “Main Menu”, the Server System page is now displayed. Select “Main Menu”. This time the Internet Features page is displayed. Touch “Return to main menu” and you are once again back on the Engineers Page. Press “Save the settings”. 3G Mobile Modem Connect the 3G dongle to a spare USB port on the computer. The setup procedure is then as follows: Enter the Engineers Menu the enter “Internet Features”. Press “Server”. The screen will display “Server System”. Press “Continue” and then “Setup the Internet”. A warning screen will appear. Press “OK”. The Internet Setup screen is now visible. Select “3G Mobile Modem”. Select “Show 3G Status”. The screen will now explain how to establish if the 3G modem is connected to the internet. A permanently lit LED on the modem indicates that the internet connection is established. A flashing LED means that an internet connection cannot be made. If the connection cannot be made press “Troubleshooting” and follow the on-screen instructions using step 1 first before proceeding to step 2. Ensure that you save the settings if your actions have been successful. The machine will now re-boot. 3 Mobile Mi-Fi Summary: 3 Mobile MI-FI uses 3 mobile broadband to create a wireless network (WLAN) so you can connect devices like the VenueHub directly to the internet completely wirelessly and without the need for a fixed broadband connection. Mi-FI 3 Mobile WI-FI uses a 3 mobile broadband connection plus a wireless modem to create a fully wireless network that you can use to connect the VenueHub to the internet without the need for wires or a BT phone line. The system is very simple to set up and use. The speed that you experience will depend on whether you are in an area with "excellent coverage" (i.e. within HSDPA coverage), "good coverage" (i.e. within 3G coverage) or "marginal coverage" (i.e. on the edge of the 3G coverage region. 3's HSDPA coverage region currently covers 91% of the UK population and offers download speeds of up to of up to 2.8 Mpbs. 3 are currently rolling out 7.2 Mbps coverage across the UK. Note: The 3 MIFI dongle will require a 240v supply at all times. This does not need to be positioned within close proximity of the Jukebox. You can check 3’s coverage by using the check coverage by postcode on the 3 website. The MI-FI 15 gigabyte modem is available from Soundnet Soundnet’s contact details are: Contact names Megan Grace-Hughes or James Luck.Telephone number 02076 448888 SoundNet Server Your VenueHub is already supplied to you configured with a gate ID from SoundNet. Please be aware that if you are using a 3G modem there may be a delay lasting a number of minutes before the status indicator turns from Blue to Green. Workshop Preparation Before commencing work on the machine ensure that the work surface is clear and covered so that the underside of the front door surround is not damaged whilst working on the jukebox. There is no need to remove the wall mounting plate from the machine at this time as it is best left secured to the unit until such time as it is taken to site. The door keys can be found in a cloth bag secured to the mounting plate. The standard key for the VenueHub is an SL001. Alternative locks are available and may be purchased via Sound Leisure Stores if required. Open the door. Plug the power lead into the socket on top of the power supply then connect to a local power source. Turn the internal power switch on and the switch on the socket. Please note that there is also an on/off switch underneath the machine. When all power switches are in the On position the machine will boot up. This process may take a few minutes. The first screen that you will see with the door open is the Menu Selection screen. (This is automatically activated by the door switch that is situated at the bottom right hand corner of the machine just below the cashbox). If you want to return to the Jukebox interface screen whilst working with the door open simply pull the switch actuator towards you and touch “Please close the door / return to jukebox” message that shows on the front screen. To change any setting simply touch the section that requires the changes and follow the instructions and prompts seen on the second screen. To save any changes made simply press Exit. 7 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Online Selection Location: Engineers menu/ Jukebox Setup/ Pricing Set up The Price of Play settings also influence the cost of playing an audio track downloaded from the internet server. In default, the jukebox is set so that an online selection costs 2 credits. The track will then be deposited on the hard drive of the jukebox and stay there whilst it remains popular. In default it will stay on the hard drive for a period of 8 weeks. If is not selected within this timescale it will be removed. If this track IS selected it will remain on the jukebox for a further 8 weeks. To make the cost of an online selection the same as a selection made from the jukebox hard drive or change the number weeks that the track will be made available for selection follow the following procedure: Press “Jukebox Setup” then “Pricing Setup” There are two options visible these being “Online Weeks” and “Online Cost (Credits)”. Both have “+/-“ next to them. To change the cost of playing an online track from 2 credits to 1, in other words the same price of play for both a track taken from the jukebox hard drive and one selected from the Internet server simply make the online cost 1. If you want to change the number of weeks that an online track remains on the jukebox hard drive simple change the setting using the “+/-“ options. When you have made any required changes return to the Main Menu. Installation of P23 VenueHub Before you begin the installation ensure the following requirements are met: It is recommended that all of the required site settings be set at your workshop and not on-site. Slacken the two top screws and remove the bottom screw. 8 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Proceed to mount the bracket on the wall ensuring that is perfectly level and by the using the most appropriate fixing for the type of wall structure. The top of the bracket should be circa 183 centimetres from the floor level. NOTE: The jukebox ON/OFF switch is located on the bottom left hand side of the cabinet and room should be left to enable this to be activated/deactivated. When the bracket is fully secured to the wall ensure that the two top screws are in place, but not fully tightened. The mains lead is provided in a separate bag. Feed the internal connection through the opening in the rear of the machine and plug it into the socket that can be found on top of the power supply. Do not turn the machine on at this time. Close and lock the front door of the jukebox, with assistance lift the jukebox onto the two slackened screws on the mounting plate. When you are sure that the jukebox is safely on both screws open the front door and replace the locking screw. Fully tighten all three screws. NOTE: Take care when opening the door as the machine may tilt on its bracket as it is not yet fixed. The Volume control is connected to the Jukebox via the 1026V processor board that is located in the bottom left hand side of the P23. The RVC connections on the control board are removable to assist with wiring. Simply pull the 4-way connector towards you to remove. The speakers can now be fitted and wired back to the jukebox. Care must be taken to ensure that the connecting cables are not damaged. The speaker leads are connected to the speaker connection pad inside the jukebox. This should only be done after the speaker lines have been checked with an accurate digital meter. There must be no short circuits and the resistance must not under any circumstances be less than 4Ω. Connecting to the Internet The jukebox may now be connected to the Internet. Only if this is done will the end user have access to audio tracks stored on the remote server and be able to use the online applications. The internet connection from the jukebox to the router should be hard wired where possible in CAT5 cable. If this is not possible a wireless connection may be used however it must be noted that a wireless connection may not always work correctly and subsequently cause service issues. It is normal for this to take a few minutes. When the machine has powered up successfully close the door, return to the end user screen and check the Internet status. If this is fully functional the RSS feed will be scrolling along the top of the screen and the internet status indicator will be green. The small message alongside the indicator will read Online Unlimited. Proceed to check the coin acceptance and make a number of selections. At this time you should check the operation of the volume controls and reject as well as every speaker to ensure that every speaker is working. If the amplifier settings, such as maximum output level or tone quality require adjustment please refer to the Amplification section of the manual. These should be set at this time. Training the Licensee It is of the utmost importance that the Licensee or his nominated member of staff understands how the machine operates. Only if the management team understand how the machine operates will they be able to explain to the customers how best to operate the jukebox. When you are totally satisfied that the installation is working correctly in every way demonstrate the product in its entirety to the licensee so that they in turn may explain to their customers what the new jukebox does and how it operates. When the demonstration is concluded approval should be sort to position the tent cards (table talkers) that came with the machine at strategic positions around the premises. CoinMech The coin acceptor fitted to the VenueHub is a Comestero RM5 CCTALK Important A standard (non CCTALK) RM5 will not work in the VenueHub. Overview The CCTALK mechanism allows the OPWEB™ management system to monitor in real time cash acceptance. It also identifies whether or not the acceptor is working correctly as well as a number of other additional benefits, which are detailed in the OPWEB™ section of the operational manual. BGM Type Location: Engineers Menu /BGM/Change Details/BGM Type Touch the ‘BGM Type’ 13 VenueHub : Sound Leisure There are four available options: • • • • Beats Per Minute and Speed Most played songs Playlist Least played songs Select one of the BGM types and then follow the instructions carefully as the set up procedure differs between the four BGM types. The option you select on this screen will affect the BGM options available in other screens, as each option requires different details in order to profile the BGM tracks played Beats per Minute Beats per minute refers to the tempo of a song. Each track loaded onto the machine has a BPM rating programmed into its code, usually somewhere between 60 – 185 BPM. A track with a slow tempo would have a low BPM rating (i.e. Frank Sinatra – Strangers in the Night 90bpm) where as a fast track would have a much higher BPM rating. (I.e. The Beatles – She Loves You 151bpm). To set the BPM range for a timer Most Played Songs Selecting this BGM type causes the jukebox to play the ‘Most Played’ selections on the machine. The jukebox logs each paid play selection and creates a jukebox chart of all the tracks on the machine, from most popular to least popular. This option allows the user to define how many of the most played tracks to select for the BGM timer, (i.e. select from the 20 most played songs) and also to exclude songs that are less than a preset number of weeks old (i.e. ignore songs that have been on the jukebox less than 3 weeks) ‘’Last 3 Weeks’’ and “All Time Most Played”. BGM Play List To set up a new play list go to the following location. Location: Engineers Menu / Custom Playlists. First set up a new Play list. By using a Play list you may choose the tracks you want to play within the BGM Timer. The Play list can be set to play in sequential or random order. If the Interval is set to ‘0’ then BGM plays constantly I.E. zero minutes between each track. If ‘ONLY DISPLAY THE SONGS THAT ARE IN THE BGM RANGE’ is set to ‘YES’ jukebox customers will only be able to see songs in the current BGM Timer range for paid play selection. This allows you to control the ambience of an event by preventing customers making paid play selections of songs outside the BGM range you have chosen. To check the tracks which remain available for selection use the ‘CHANGE EXCLUDED TRACKS’ Change Excluded Songs To exclude a specific song from the BGM timer select ‘Change Excluded songs’ from the ‘BGM settings’ screen. There are 4 individual timers, which can all be tailored by day, time, and price of play. A basic function of this facility would be to offer cut-price or free tracks on the jukebox during traditionally quiet periods when the machine does not take much money. The pricing scheme can also be increased to make the jukebox more expensive during a certain time period if required. Once the computer clock reaches the end of the ‘Pricing Promotion’ time period the price of play reverts to the default settings programmed in the ‘Price of Play’ engineers menu. At this point the play list can be retained (if the VenueHub has been programmed to give credits for a reduced price of play the playlist should be kept once the Pricing Promotion has expired). If you have activated Free credits during the Pricing Promotion it is wise to clear the play list at this stage as customers could have loaded hundreds of tracks onto the VenueHub. It is possible to Advertise the Pricing promotion on the VenueHub’s front screen. Simply activate the adverts by touching the “Play Pricing Promotion attract Mode advert” until it shows YES. Setting Pricing Promotion Timers First select “Pricing Promotion” from the Engineers Menu. The “Pricing Promotion” screen will appear. If there are currently no timers enabled select a timer by touching it on screen. When selected the Timer text will turn white on a blue background. Press the ‘Enable’ button. Once the timer is enabled it will automatically enter default values for certain settings. These settings can be altered by simply touching the relevant option. First set the days and times during which the Timer pricing scheme will be active. To do so, touch the grey square under ‘Times / Days’ Pricing Promotion timer On/Off times To set the On/Off times touch the orange areas marked ‘Hour’ and ‘Mins’ on screen. When selected the squares will turn yellow. At this point use the on screen keyboard to enter values. 21 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Values entered in the ‘Hour’ field must be in 24 hour clock format (00h – 23h). Now select the days on which the timer should operate. To do so touch the day(s) on screen which you wish to be included in the current timer. Once touched the Orange ‘No’ button will change to a green ‘Yes’ button. To return the buttons to the ‘No’ state touch them again. Once the correct On/Off times and Days have been set, press the ‘Exit’ button. The grey area under ‘Time/Days’ will now show the details you have just programmed, including the days and times when the Pricing Promotion timer will be enabled. Check the days and times are correct. Setting various ‘Pricing Promotion’ price of play Touch the numbered squares from 1 - 8 on screen. Enter the lowest price of play in the level 1 field by touching the Level 1 box. A new screen will appear with 2 separate boxes for ‘Plays’ and ‘Cash’. Touch the ‘Plays’ box so it turns yellow and enter a number. Next touch the ‘Cash’ box square so it turns yellow and enter a price for the number of plays you’ve just set. The ‘Price’ value must be in multiples of 10 pence units. Example:-1 play = 30 pence Enter 1 in the plays box Enter 3 in the cash box NOT Enter 00 in both the ‘Plays’ and ‘Cash’ boxes to enable FREE PLAY during Pricing Promotion. You can choose to advertise the reduced price or free play ‘Happy Hour’ periods, by enabling Happy Hour adverts as follows. 13.2 To set the Pricing promotion advert settings 22 VenueHub : Sound Leisure To alter the Pricing Promotion advert settings, touch the orange Pricing Promotion Advert box that is situated at the top of the screen. Play Pricing Promotion Advert? If ‘Yes’ is selected the jukebox program will display a Pricing Promotion ‘Now On’ animation on the touch screen monitor as an attract mode advert If the ‘Pricing Promotion’ price of play has been set to ‘FREE PLAY’ the jukebox will also display ‘FREE CREDITS AVAILABLE ON THE JUKEBOX!’ If ‘No’ is selected the Jukebox will not display any ‘Pricing Promotion’ adverts. Clear Play List After Happy Hour. (Only used for Free Play) During ‘FREE PLAY’ pricing periods the jukebox play list often becomes very long. Setting this facility to ‘Yes’ deletes any remaining play list at the end of the ‘Happy Hour’ time period. It is only recommended setting this option to ‘YES’ if a “Free play” timer has been operational. Do not enable for reduced price Happy Hour times. This facility has the benefit that tracks selected and paid for after the ‘Happy Hour’ period are not added to the end of a long list of ‘FREE PLAY’ selections. Customers are also encouraged to pay for tracks on the jukebox as the machine will either go silent or revert back to a BGM timer, rather than continuing to play tracks selected during the ‘FREE PLAY’ period. If ‘No’ is selected tracks in the play list entered during the happy hour timer will be retained and played out as usual. If ‘Yes’ is selected all tracks in the play list will be cleared at the end of the happy hour timer. To interface correctly with the amplifier the sources should output at least a line level (1Vpp) stereo signal. The amplifier has 2 stereo auxiliary inputs which are prioritised, this allows automatic switching between sources without the need for an external switch box. Auxiliary 1 has priority over auxiliary 2 If sources are connected to both inputs only auxiliary 1 will be heard If the source connected to auxiliary 1 is turned off the amplifier will switch to auxiliary 2 If the source connected to auxiliary 1 is turned on again the amplifier will switch back to auxiliary 1 Using the menu system a switch over time between 2 and 60 seconds can be set for the auxiliary inputs. The display will show a count down when the amplifier is preparing to switch inputs. 37 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Microphone Input The amplifier has a dedicated microphone input that is setup to accept a low impedance (~600Ω) passive microphone. Active or wireless microphones can be used but any external gain controls should be set low. Line Output The amplifier provides a stereo line level audio output for connection to other amplifiers, if required the microphone signal can be output separately. Slave Input If 2 D2 or D4 amplifiers are used together a special link between the Line Output of the first amplifier and the Slave Input of the second amplifier can be made. This link will configure the second amplifier as a slave and adjust all internal settings accordingly. Features which can not be used on a slave amplifier, such as the auxiliary inputs, will be hidden. Using the Amplifier By default the amplifier LCD display will show the active input along the top line and the Remote Volume Control (RVC) level along the bottom line. On the D4 amplifier, the display will show the RVC level for channels 1 and 2 for 10 seconds and then show the RVC level for channels 3 and 4 for 10 seconds. To change the settings on the amplifier a simple 4 button system is used. Pressing the Menu Up button or the Menu Down button will cycle through the different menus, using the + or – buttons will increment or decrement the current menu. The display will return to its default state, showing the active input and RVC levels, if no buttons are pressed for 1 minute. When the display returns to this state any changes to the menus will be saved. Menu Description The following is a list of the different menus and their functions: Channel 1 Stereo Mono Switch (Shown as Channel 1/3 on the D4) This menu is used to set the amplifier in Stereo or 2 channel Mono For most installs the amplifier should be left in Mono which will give independent control of each channel. If the appropriate speakers are installed the amplifier can be used in stereo, all settings for channel 2 will now be taken from channel 1 and the volume for both channels will be controlled from a single RVC control. On the D4 amplifier channels 3 and 4 are also linked as a stereo pair. If the amplifier is set in stereo all controls for channel 2 are hidden, on the D4 amplifier this applies to channel 3 as well. Menus 2 to 6 are repeated for each channel, the top line of the display will show which channel is currently selected. 38 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Channel Master This menu sets the maximum volume level that can be achieved with the RVC. To set this level, reduce the value to around 50% and turn the RVC to full. With a song playing gradually increase the value until the maximum volume required in that area is reached. Once this value is set the RVC can be used to control the volume from MUTE up to the value set by this menu. Channel Bass This menu sets the Bass Equalizer of the current channel. It can provide a cut or boost of 15dB. Channel Middle This menu sets the Middle Equalizer of the current channel. It can provide a cut or boost of 15dB. Channel Treble This menu sets the Middle Equalizer of the current channel. It can provide a cut or boost of 15dB. Channel Microphone Volume This menu sets the Microphone Volume of the current channel it is independent of the RVC level. Setting this menu to MUTE will stop the microphone working on this channel. Aux Input 1 This Menu sets the master volume level for Auxiliary Input 1. It should be set using the same method outlined in menu 2. Aux Input 2 This Menu sets the master volume level for Auxiliary Input 2. It should be set using the same method outlined in menu 2. Aux Input Time This menu sets the time that an auxiliary input must be present before the amplifier will switch to it. The value can be between 2 and 60 seconds. Microphone Bass This menu sets the Bass Equalizer of the Microphone Input. It can provide a cut or boost of 10dB. Microphone Middle This menu sets the Middle Equalizer of the Microphone Input. Troubleshooting No Display Ensure the amplifier power lead is connected and the Jukebox is switched ON No Sound Ensure speakers are connected correctly and the amplifier is showing an input is active. Ensure the RVC level is not showing MUTE Sound Cutting Out When the sound cuts out check which fault is shown on the amplifier display, compare to the list below Auxiliary not working Ensure the auxiliary source level is at least 1Vpp and that the auxiliary volumes are not set to minimum The following faults may be shown on the amplifier display: 40 VenueHub : Sound Leisure Over Current This refers to an amplifier channel drawing more current than it should and will result in the audio cutting in and out. Check the speaker impedance is above 4 Ω and that there are no shorts on the speaker line. Over Temperature This indicates that an amplifier module has reached its temperature threshold and has shutdown to prevent damage. Check the fans in the Jukebox are clean and working. Low Voltage The mains supply to the amplifier is below 200V AC (in the UK) and the amplifier has shutdown. The Jukebox will not work reliably at this voltage level, increase the voltage to the standard 235V AC. If the Jukebox has been modified to run on a 110V supply the low voltage level is around 95V AC. 41 VenueHub : Sound Leisure ENGINEER’S NOTES 42 VenueHub : Sound Leisure IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ▫ This appliance must be connected to a mains socket with a protective earth connection. ▫ The mains plug is the designated ‘disconnection device’ and as such should be readily operable. ▫ It must not be placed near to a radiator, heat source, or direct sunlight. ▫ Naked flame sources such as lighted candles must not be placed upon it. ▫ This appliance should not be exposed to dripping, splashing or have objects containing liquid placed upon it. ▫ Wall mounted appliances must be securely fixed to the wall in accordance with the installation instructions contained in this manual.
