Pom Pom Fairy Garland
Materials
Yarn • Wood peg dolls • Felt • Scissors • Paper and pencil
Hot glue gun • Craft paint and paintbrush • Twine for hanging garland
How To
1. Give your fairies clothing, a face, and hair using acrylic/craft paint. Set them aside to dry.
2. Draw a template onto the paper for the fairy wings and cut out.
Trace the template onto your felt and cut out as many fairy wings as you will need.
3. Make pom poms either using a pom pom maker or using your fingers. Here is a great, super easy web
tutorial for making pom poms with your fingers:

4. Once your peg dolls are completely dry it's time to attach their pom pom skirts. Create a little
opening in the pom pom by pushing aside some of the yarn. Squeeze a small amount of hot glue into the
opening of the pom pom and insert a peg doll. Gently smoosh the pom pom around the peg doll and allow
the glue to set up. Repeat for the other dolls and pom poms.
5. Cut a small piece of twine to make a hanging loop for each fairy. Put a tiny dab of hot glue onto the
middle of the felt wings. Carefully place the ends of the twine loop into the glue, and attach
the wings to the back of the fairy.
6. Cut a piece of twine the desired length of your garland plus a little extra. String on each fairy and
make a small knot with your hanging twine to securely attach them.
7. Time to hang your fairy garland and enjoy!
