The 2 016 spring/summer collection ‘Unknown Path’ from
camel active menswear and womenswear is inspired by
the ocean and people whose lifestyles are defined by the
a l l - e m b r a c i n g e l e m e n t o f w a t e r. c a m e l a c t i v e i s g o i n g t o
explore the element of water from various perspectives
through coastal cities as well as remote islands and finally
through the underwater world. The interpretation of this
spirit into the collection is expressed through different
approaches from urbanised, outdoor and nautical moods
featured by prints, blocking, morphing and bleaching.
Natural materials and symmetrical accents give traditional styles a new lighter feel. All-over or partial prints
a r e u s e d t o c r e a t e s t r o n g c o n t r a s t s . To n a l c o l o u r s a n d
subtile bleaching agents produce a clean, understated
look. Another important characteristic of the 2016 spring/
summer collection for both men and women is the increased
use of micro patterns and horizontal stripes, patterns
from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as floral motifs.
