FISHING WITH RIGS
Rig fishing can be practised from shores and river banks but is mainly fished from small
boats. The rig is armed with 3, 5, or more nymphs (depending on the local law of the region
and its regulations). A weight of 10 to 50 gr. is being attached at the line tip …
and here we go…
This way of fishing enables you to catch many perch without a particular technique.
Montage A : lead weight at the end of line on the bottom of your montage.
Fishing for coregonus species (powan) is a job for specialists. Depending on the country and
region various special techniques have been developped. You need a rod with ultra-sensitive
tip. This enables you to catch very selective fish. For this we are producing rigs with a special
montage called « Felchen-Montage (powan montage) » (montage B). A 7 gr. pierced long oval
lead-weight is attached in the rig just before the last nymph (follower).
A new montage is montage C : at the place of the long oval lead-weight, we tie a loop into
the fishing line where a drop weight of the desired weight class is being attached.
Fishing for charr is being practised very successfully in various mountain lakes. This
Beautiful fish is being caught from boats in deep water (oftly more than 50 meters).
For this many fisherman are using rigs with luminous nymphs (Luminex for example).
Our rigs are exclusively put together in IN SWITZERLAND.

RIG-FISHING WITH AN UNDERWATER-FLOAT
Fishing from the shore of a lake, a river bank. Ideal to be fished from beaches of flat waters:

An ultra-transparent swimming Sbirulino-float for 15 g weight ist on top and at the
end a normal rig- or dropweight. This way you avoid hanging on the ground.

SHOVELHEAD (FLATHEAD) HOOK-RIG
Especially for perch. For hobby fishermen. To be used when fish are not selective.
EYEHOOK-RIGS
Gageli (wiggle)-rigs, indispensable for powan (coregonus sp.), charr, or for shy perch. Special montage
very carefully produced. Fishing line is hanging loose in the hook eye and therefore the nymphs are wiggling
like living insects. These rigs are extremly successful, especially in overfished waters. For fastidious hobby
anglers and professional fishermen.
SPECIAL-RIGS
BIKINI
:
Special rig with 2 or 3 nymphs for grayling and trout with weighted
float on line tip.
ALPINA RIGS
:
Special rig with 2 or 3 nymphs, can be mixed (nymphs and bare hooks)
for trout and charr in mountain lakes and rivers.
