5.COLLEGE CONTRACT BUS - CORNWALL
Annual Pass
City College Plymouth provides three College Contract Buses from
Liskeard, Launceston and Looe to the main College sites.
The cost of a pass for travel on one of the contract buses costs £210
which is payable on application.
The Contract Bus provides one return journey per day Monday-Friday
during term-time only. The buses are due to start running on 07 September
2009 and will stop on 23 July 2010 excluding holiday periods. Timetables
are available on pages 10 – 12.
How to apply
If you wish to purchase a pass for one of the Contract Buses please
complete an application form. These are available from Student Services
Helpdesks on (01752) 305803 or from the Student Funding Team on
(01752) 305381. Send your form to: Student Funding Team, Student
Services, City College Plymouth, Kings Road, Devonport, Plymouth,
PL1 5QG. Please remember to enclose your payment and two passport
sized photos with your name clearly written on the back.
Applications should be received by 31st August 2009 to ensure the pass
is prepared and sent out to you before the start of term in September.
Casual Usage of the buses
For those students who wish to use the bus occasionally - a daily fare
of £3.50 return is available. Please note that priority is given to those
students with annual passes and availability can vary on a daily basis. If
you are going to use the bus more than twice a week it is more economical
to buy an annual pass.
5
General exclusions

• Smoking is not permitted on the Contract Buses. Travellers breaching this rule will be excluded from the bus service.
• The sale of daily casual tickets is at the discretion of the driver, Citybus and City College Plymouth and strict safety rules have to be observed.
CCTV
It is likely that as part of a wider community safety initiative some of our
buses may have CCTV installed. The bus operators will control the data
used on these buses and comply with the necessary legislation.
