GravoStyle 5 Introduction
SECTION 2 GRAVOSTYLE 5 INTRO I. INTRO Gravostyle 5 is designed for use with the Gravograph Rotary and Laser Engravers. It has many new benefits that makes designing jobs for your equipment much easier. The purpose of this Section is to familiarize you with the layout of the Gravostyle 5 Software. You will notice right off that the software looks different than anything you have seen in the past. Gravostyle 5 is a true 32 bit engraving program that uses larger full color Icons and toolbars. It also allows you to select your defaults in the program to optimize your setup time for setting up a Job. It also has many useful interfaces to reduce your frustration with designing engraving Jobs such as, changing line weight, filling vector artwork, lasering bitmaps, stamps and barcodes. In the Graphic Level of Gravostyle 5 you have access to the Machining Module, which enables you to define and combine different tool paths to start and finish a sophisticated or industrial engraving. Each tool path is calculated in relation to the contour of an object, depending on the tool parameters and the type of path chosen. It enables you to have far greater control of the engraving tool path. Save the job before you take it to the Machining Module. When Tool paths are created in the Machining Module a Geometric Tool path will be generated in the same folder that the job is save in. It will have the same name as the job but will be followed by .P00. Select the part of your job that you want to bring into the Machining Module. If you create a Tool path in the Machining Module, that Tool path will generate to everything that is brought in the Module.
