GS205 MULTI-SENSOR
TARGETING SYSTEM
LASER DESIGNATION CAPABILITY FOR SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS
Integrating an advanced sensor suite in a less than
8 lbs. package, the GS205 multi-sensor targeting system
delivers optimal surveillance and targeting capabilities by
combining a high-resolution thermal imager,
color daylight camera, laser designator and
laser rangefinder. The GS205 system provides
Unmanned Aircraft (UA) operators with true
day/night reconnaissance and targeting
capability in a single unit measuring less than
6 inches in diameter.
The GS205’s thermal camera is a state-ofthe-art 12 µm pitch cooled mid-wave infrared
(MWIR) sensor with three fields of view or
an optional single field of view 17 µm pitch
uncooled long-wave infrared (LWIR) sensor.
The system also includes a color zoom TV,
••12 µm mid-wave IR cooled sensor with three fields of
view (20°, 8° and 2°) or optionally a 17 µm long-wave
IR uncooled sensor with a 16° field of view
••Daylight color zoom TV
Eye-safe laser rangefinder or an optional laser

rangefinder/designator
a laser pointer, an optional dual-mode laser rangefinder/
designator or an eye-safe laser rangefinder and a robust
multi-mode automatic tracker. The automatic tracker eases
operator workload during surveillance and
targeting operations. The entire package is a
single line-replaceable unit, which simplifies
both installation and maintenance.
The GS205 is ideal for both surveillance
and targeting missions on a variety of small
unmanned airborne platforms. It has both
analog and serial data interfaces allowing
for compatibility with most moving map/
geo-locating systems and digital data links.
••Laser pointer/illuminator
••Robust multi-mode automatic tracker
••Optional B-Kits for installation on multiple platforms
such as, ground vehicles and stationary Forward
