Sadowsky Onboard Bass Preamp
Master Volume / Blend / Vintage Tone / Treble and Bass Boost
Pull up on tone knob for true bypass of preamp
We recommend
installation by
a professional
guitar technician.
On a typical J-style
bass, the output jack
needs to be moved to
the side of the body and
a battery compartment
must be installed in the
rear of the bass. System
operates on a single 9V
battery. No additional
headroom is gained by
using 18 volts.
For other configurations,
remove the plate. Pots
can be configured for a
4-in-line or a diamond
pattern. Threaded
potentiometer bushing
length is 3/8" for rear
control cavity
installation.

We highly recommend
the BATT-O-METER for
easy testing of battery level
via the output jack.
We recommend changing the
battery when the voltage
reaches 7V.
*NOTES:
Battery will drain whenever a cable is
inserted into the input jack. Switching to bypass will
not conserve battery life. Under normal use, you
should expect about six months of battery life. The
Vintage Tone Control operates in both active and
passive modes.
