Sponsorship Opportunities for the
2010 Rock the Wave Festival

Introduction and Overview
 The Rock the Wave tour is aimed at combining
the love of surfing along with a great passion for
music. Being the first year of the tour, Rock the
Wave will take place at Sunset Beach, HI. Each
of the 20 bands playing will perform a 45 minute
set on one of the three stages set up along the
beach.
 After the festival, a compilation CD will be
released.
History

excellent surf, and rock bands.”

Tour Marketing
 The main plan the tour has is to sell a lot of tour
merchandise, compiled CDs, clothing, etc. before,
during, and after tour. Each sponsor will be displayed
on all merchandise.
 Logos will be printed on all merchandise. For the Long
Board tier 1 sponsor, their logo will be promoted next to the
logo of the tour.
 Target markets will be located on music television such as
FUSE and MTV, extreme sports stations, like ESPN and
ESPN 2 and the Surf Channel, magazines, such as
Alternative Press, and located on the website roxy.com.
