With fast tooling set-up and easy programming, the machine line guarantees excellent quality and high repeatability bends. Ercolina® is proud of offering a wide range of angle rolling machines for all different market requests, from small-size manual machines to big-size sophisticated CNC machines. Welded steel construction and cast iron mainframes add strength and rigidity to the machines, also equipped with forged, treated and rectified chrome-nickel alloy steel shafts. Threaded shafts with micrometric regulating ring for accurate and easy tooling positioning, with no additional spacers normally required. Ercolina® rolls are specially heat-treated to obtain the highest material hardness and anti-scratching finishing on profiles. To ensure tighter material grip and higher rolling accuracy, rolls diameters are larger than those that may be presently found on the market. Ercolina® quality controls guarantee exact shaft alignment with machine mainframe to provide a strong pulling capacity, also with high rotation speeds, which leads to high production volumes. The machine line offers both manual and hydraulic side guides (like the RLI-Hydraulic Side Pressure Rolls) to help minimize deflection on high wall thickness section and complex profiles, such as angles leg-in & leg-out. Central roll positioning is micro-adjusted on manual machines and electronically adjusted by a positioning device (encoder) on all hydraulic machines, for accurate repeatability of bending results and “no marks” final bend quality. ® Ercolina control panels are designed for user friendly bend programming. Operating functions are easy to set, all control menu ® are multi-languages. For operating Ercolina Ring Rollers only a brief product training is required. Accuracy and simple operator skills make these machines the optimal choice compared to other very expensive and sophisticated machinery. 2 CE / E / A RING ROLLER LINE All Ercolina® Ring Rollers offer further highly competitive advantages such as: aQuick tool change over; aLow maintenance. Clutches and brakes have very extensive life cycles; aLong-lasting products designed to perform under the hardest and challenging conditions. All machines are made of finest quality materials. Electronic boards and all electric parts use advanced safety systems for reliable overload protection; aOperator safety measures. All machines are supplied with emergency stop buttons. Ercolina® products comply with CE Standards; aBending special profile sections is also easy for profiles such as: angle leg-in & leg-out, flat bars on-edge & on-flat, round and square bars, H & I beams, and many others; aCustomized products guaranteed by a 30-year-old technical department constantly dedicated to special tooling applications. Ercolina® special tooling allows to bend all kind of profiles in all different application sectors: windows and doors, ironworking, furniture, and many others. ® Ercolina grants a long experience with Ring Rollers in manufacturing and selling over 20,000 bending tools to every country in the world. The selection tables on pages 67, 68, 69 will guide you through former choice, other tables for counterbending die selection are on pages 84 and 85. Ercolina non mandrel machines are supplied with the most advanced tooling technology, developed by thirty years international market experience and reaserch. A complete set of tools is made up of two main components, the former that shapes the curve turning round together with the machine rotating shaft, and the counterbending die (or in particular cases the roll) that is moved towards the profile to block it during the bending phase.
