The Smart Missiles have sold very well and everybody seemed to be picking those ones out. By the time last night came I was just exhausted with showing the horse, he had that many views. “My hopes had grown and grown and gone sky high that we might get a good result and it turned out that way,” he added. Asked about the sale, McKnight added: “The results overall I would think are quite satisfactory. Once again it’s becoming part and parcel that if you have a nice type of horse with a bit of pedigree then I think you get well and truly overs. The people who have the run of the mill horse on type and pedigree, then they are probably taking unders for these sales and that’s the way the market is going.” Two further lots sold for six figures yesterday, with two fillies both making $100,000.
