feats Festival 2011 Message Producer: feats Festival 2010 Message Alberta Dance Alliance 2 EXHILARATING At the junction of word-driven thought and human motion lives the effervescent world of dance. Join feats and live the passion of Alberta’s best professional and recreational dance artists in a week long celebration of movement. Let your mind expand beyond the limits of spoken language and enter a world that can be shared only through this most precise vocabulary of gesture. Made in Alberta presents dancers and choreographers from our dazzling prairie province. Watch as they convey what it means to be Albertan in brilliant swirls of movement. Take in Live-Feed and be engaged in an interactive discussion about dance, creation and an artist’s process. Hear choreographers discuss what dance means to them. Dancers explore their past, sharing it with audiences at Dominion Day Celebrations at Fort Edmonton Park. Experience how dance changed Edmonton’s landscape. Community Partners: Let feats expand your dance vocabulary. Grab your thesaurus, exercise your mind and discover new ways to talk about dance.
