The only truly hands-free cursor control. Ideal for ergonomic relief and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury, the SmartNav 4:EG makes using a computer what it should be: useful and convenient. Other devices such as trackballs and touch pads might reduce pain and permanent damage, but the hands free Smart-Nav EG eliminates the aggravating movements associated with these conditions completely. The Smart-Nav EG also works with popular voice recognition programs and external clicking switches. True Ergonomic Relief The SmartNav 4:EG package ends wrist strain, by eliminating the need for a mouse. With the built-in switch input it's the best solution available for Tendonitis, Repetitive Strain Injury, and other wrist strain related problems. Use Your Head, Spare Your Hands The main cause of RSI and tendonitis is the repeated stressful motion of moving your hand from your keyboard to your mouse - and especially the action of crimping a mouse whilst dragging it across the desk to create cursor movement. SmartNav doesn't require any hand motion for cursor movement and thus offers you the highest level of relief possible. Natural Motion SmartNav was designed to complement the natural head motion you already perform when looking around. Moving your head less than a quarter inch easily manoeuvres the cursor across your entire screen. Switch Input You can plug a click switch or a footswitch directly into the side of the SmartNav. With the Y Breakout Cable (included), you can plug in separate switches for left and right clicking. Exclusive Software Features Cursor Control and Clicking • Absolute Cursor Positioning Mode for moving the cursor like a digitiser instead of a relative mouse • Separate X and Y Scaling, for dual screen monitors or users with limited head movement in one direction • Smoothing Control, for dampening unwanted head movements • Key Activated, to have the cursor only move when you hold down a key • Pause, to simply pause the system • Hotkeys for clicking, pausing and centring the cursor. 14: Buddy Buttons Buddy Buttons are very simple switch devices designed to enable computer access for people who cannot use keyboards or mice at all.
