Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort
Aloha and welcome to our tropical paradise of the Wyndham Kona Hawaiian
Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii. Located approximately 10 miles from the Kona
International Airport, our resort is situated within walking distance to downtown KailuaKona. Our visitors can enjoy all the attractions and activities our picturesque town offers
for our owners and guests. Your Big Island adventure can vary from enjoying swimming
dolphins, sunbathing turtles, breaching whales, waterfalls, island cuisines and amazing
sunsets. Or, you can just relax on your lanai or take a nap lounging under a palm tree at
one of our pool decks.
Just close your eyes. Imagine yourself swimming in the warm waters of the tropics
where the only footprints in the sand are yours. Enjoy the Big Island during your visit at
our resort.
Your senses will be heightened with the complexities within our resort. From
the aroma of tropical flowers and plants to the sight of Kona coffee trees, sugar cane,
pineapple and banana trees thriving within our grounds throughout the property. You can
take a stroll through the resort and hear the soothing sound of Hawaiian music with the
sound of the pounding surf crashing along the nearby shoreline.
Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort was designed for our visitors to experience
days gone past Hawaiiana. Upon your arrival on the property, you might have noticed
that you registered at the Guest Services desk under a room covered in thatch. The
suites are in buildings that have the appearance of sugar cane plantation houses, which
are laid out over 16 acres. As you approach the door to your suite, you cannot help but
notice the wooden door that is meticulously carved with an island theme. Once inside,
you will find the interior of each suite elegantly draped with tropical décor. The design of
the furnishings and artwork, even down to the Hawaiian quilt bedspread, will acquaint
you with the sense of nostalgia in Hawaii. Whatever your pleasure, you will find all your
expectations exceeded during your vacation in our tropical paradise. Just remember to
bring your camera so that you can forever enjoy magical moments that will last a lifetime.
