DESIGN
Hydals double walled cabinet ALX 2000 is built from solid aluminium
extrusions which can handle mounting of heavy equipment. To facilitate
assembly both the height extrusions and side extrusions have been
milled in advance to ensure correct fittig of the nut and are cogged.
This makes it possible to exploit the inside area of the cabinet to the
maximum.
Doors, side walls, back plates and roof are produced with sheets.
The doors can be opened 180°.
A rugged door-stay that may be locked at both 90° and 135° is
available upon request.
As standard design all Hydal ALX 2000 cabinets are delivered in dustand water-resistant finish IP 55. An extensive delivery programe,
including shelters, can be made with accessories like:
• Plinth.
• Steam lock.
• Door stay.
• 19’’/ETSI operation box with door.
• 19’’ door and dismountable doors on each side.
• Detachable doors and windows.
• EMC gaskets.
• Complete delivery programe of mounting equipment and

Hydal ALX 2000 cabinet is developed with the objective of
giving sensitive electronic equipment a dry and dust-free
environment as well as a stable operating temperature.
Aluminium cabinets from Hydal are synonymous with top
quality and sophisticated finish. All cabinets have been
tested over the years and come highly recommended.

Indoor environment
The double walled construction gives a condense-free environment inside the cbinet. By natural convection the temperature is kept as stable as possible. If the installed equipment
has high thermal loss, or if the cabinet is placed in extreme
climatic conditions, additionel insulation can be installed.
With an insulated wall the K-value is 1,6 (W/m 2K). If it is
necessary Hydal can provide integrated cooling solutions by
use of either Air-condition units or Heat-exchangers.
Maintenance free
The Hydal solution will provide a product that is maintenance free regarding the cabinet itself, thus
maintenance can be reduced to concern the installed and critical equipment.
