The BIG Night
1. Park in any reserved parking spot located outside the SeaWorld Adventure Camp
facility. If you drive to the SeaWorld parking tolls you've gone too far
2. Check-in will begin at your scheduled arrival time outside the SeaWorld Adventure
Camp facility
3. Group leaders must turn in all completed waivers in alphabetical order at check-in gate
4. Groups will be allowed to leave personal belongings and lunch/snacks inside classroom
Please leave valuable items at home or in your vehicles. SeaWorld will not be held
responsible for missing or damaged items
5. After rehearsal groups will have the opportunity to eat their snacks/lunches back in the
classroom. SeaWorld will not provide any food. Please bring a bagged lunch. Glass
bottles and ice coolers will not be permitted into the park
6. Choir robes and electric candles will be checked out after meal break
7. Once show concludes, groups will return robes, electronic candles, and each show choir
participant will receive two complimentary 1 day passes to SeaWorld San Diego
8. Groups will exit through the SeaWorld Adventure Camp

F.A.Q.
COSTUMES
Q: What is our dress code?
A: You will wear a blue robe with a silver stole for the performance which
SeaWorld will provide. Please wear dark brown, navy or black slacks. Dark or
black shoes, and a black or white turtleneck or sweater.
If you need thermal under garments, please wear what you need to stay warm.
Hats: Santa hats, hats with elf ears, deer antlers, and baseball caps with logos
will not be allowed during the show.
Gloves: Only black or white colors please.
Scarves: Only black or white colors please.
Skirts and high heel shoes are not recommended. Stay as comfortable as
possible. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes with a rubber sole.
Although the stairs have a non-slip texture, some may be wet.
Q: How cold will it be?
A: It's hard to say, but in the past it has been very cold.
Q: Are the candles real?
A: No. They are battery operated.
GUESTS
Q: Are we allowed to bring guests to watch our performance?
A: No, you may not bring guests through SeaWorld Security.
PERFORMANCE
Q: Will SeaWorld be providing food?
A: No. Food will not be available or provided by SeaWorld. Please bring a
bagged lunch. Glass bottles and ice coolers will not be permitted into the park.
Q: Will SeaWorld supply video or pictures of the show for volunteers as a souvenir?
A: No. SeaWorld will not have any footage or pictures available.
Q: Will SeaWorld provide lookers?
A: No. Please leave all valuable items at home or in your vehicles. SeaWorld will
not be held responsible for missing or damaged items.
Q: How long does the show run?
A: The show runs approximately 25 minutes.
Q: How big is the stadium?
A: Shamu Stadium seats 5,500 people.
Q: What are the physical demands of the choirs?
A: Keep in mind stair climbing will be necessary. During the show, choir members
will be standing in the rear of the stadium. Then all choir members will enter the
stadium while singing. After the show, all choir members will walk out of the
stadium and will stand and greet guests as they exit.
Q: What are the call times for each day?
A: Show times vary by performance. Please make sure you communicate any
concerns.
Q: Will we be carrying our music?
A: No. Music should be memorized because you will be carrying candles.
Q: When we are walking up and down stairs, will there be a railing to hold onto if we
need to?
A: Yes. All stairways have a railing on either side of them.
Q: Will there be someone conducting?
A: No.
Q: What hand do we hold the candle in?
A: Both hands will be holding the candle. But if you need to hold on to a railing
then hold the candle with your free hand.
Q: Are we going to have someone escort us into the stadium?
A: Yes. A SeaWorld staff member will escort caroling groups into Shamu Stadium.
Q: If we perform for more than one evening, how will we get our free SeaWorld tickets?
A: Once show(s) has concluded each night you will
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We will perform rain or shine. We recommend to bring an umbrella if there is
any predication of rain.
PARK INFO
Q: Can our friends buy tickets for the shows?
A: Yes. With the exception of Pass Holder night and KyXy night, your friends and
family can buy tickets to come into the park to see the Christmas Show and roam
the park.
Q: If there are two shows on the night we perform can we go into the park between
shows?
A: No. We ask that the choir members stay together as there will not be very
much time after the first show.
Q: After the last show can the choir members go into the park with their guests?
A: No. After your last performance you will be asked to return your robes,
candles, and pick up your two (2) complimentary 1 day passes to SeaWorld San
Diego. You will be required to exit through the SeaWorld Adventure Camp
facility.
Q: Where do we park? Do we pay for parking?
A: You will be asked to park in the reserved employee parking lot across from the
SeaWorld Adventure Camp facility. Parking is free.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, VOLUNTARY
ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
I,
, a person being over the age of eighteen, as a participant or a parent
or legal guardian of
, a minor child participant, on my own behalf or on my minor
child's behalf hereby enter this RELEASE OF LIABILITY, VOLUNTARY ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY
AGREEMENT (hereinafter, the "Release") with SEA WORLD LLC d/b/a SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO, its parent
corporation, subsidiaries, related and affiliated entities, officers, directors, partners, members, employees,
volunteers, consultants, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties"), in connection with
my and/or my child's attendance at and participation as a musician and/or other choir participant in the Shamu's
Christmas
Show
event
to
be
held
at
SeaWorld
San
Diego
in
2011 on
, and all activities preceding and following
such event (collectively, the "Event").
I recognize that my or my child's attendance at and participation in the Event involves known and unknown RISKS
of serious personal injury, including cardiac injuries and heart attacks, permanent disability, paralysis and death,
and damage to or loss or real or personal property, which may be caused by my or my child's own actions or
inactions or the actions or inactions of others participating in the Event, the conditions in which the Event takes
place, or the negligence of the Released Parties, whether passive or active; and that there may be other risks either
not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time. I fully accept and assume all such risks and all
responsibility for losses, costs, and damages I or my child incurs as a result of my or my child's attendance and
participation in the Event.
I am voluntarily allowing myself or my child to participate in the Event, despite the known and unknown risks
presented by my or my child's attendance at and participation in the Event. I know my or my child's capabilities and
limitations and I or my child will not attempt to exceed those capabilities in attending and participating in the Event.
THEREFORE, in consideration of me or my child being permitted to attend and participate in the Event, I expressly
and freely agree:

To ASSUME ALL RISK of serious personal injury, including death, and/or damage to or loss of real or personal
property and to assume all responsibility for losses, costs and damages I or my child may incur, where such
risks or losses arise from or are in any way connected with my or my child's attendance at, preparation for or
participation in the Event.

To RELEASE, WAIVE and FOREVER DISCHARGE any and all claims, liabilities, loss, demands, damages,
costs, expenses, lawsuits, causes of action and judgments that I or my child now or hereafter may have or
claim to have against the Released Parties resulting from, arising out of or in any way connected with my or my
child's attendance at, preparation for or participation in the Event or any related event, including but not limited
to, any claims or damages for personal injuries, including death, and/or damage to or loss of real or personal
property, whether caused in whole or in part by the NEGLIGENCE AND/OR FAULT of the Released
Parties, whether passive or active (excluding gross negligence or intentional torts) or any entity or person(s)
performing any function with respect to the Event.

To INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, and HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties, from any and all claims, liabilities,
loss, demands, damages, costs, expenses (including attorneys' fees), lawsuits, causes of action and
judgments for personal injuries, including death, and damage to or loss of real or personal property, whether
foreseen or unforeseen, present or future, known or unknown, resulting from, arising out of or in any way
connected with my or my child's attendance at, preparation for or participation in the Event, whether caused in
whole or in part by the NEGLIGENCE AND/OR FAULT of the Released Parties, whether passive or
active (excluding gross negligence or intentional torts) or any entity or person(s) performing any function with
respect to the Event.

That I am or my child is in good health and there are no physical conditions that would or should prevent me or
my child from attending, preparing for or participating in the Event.
5.
That I hold a valid personal health insurance policy in an amount that is sufficient to cover any and all
circumstances that may arise from my or my child's attendance at or participation in the Event.
6.
I hereby expressly waive any and all rights I or my child may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the
State of California, which states: "A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not
know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him or her
must have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor."
7.
I hereby understand and agree that all photographs, video tapes, audio tapes and/or digital recordings of any
kind, taken or recorded of me or my child by or on behalf of the Released Parties in connection with my or my
child's attendance at, preparation for or participation in the Event, or in connection with any publicity and/or
promotional appearances relating thereto, shall be the exclusive property of Released Parties and may be
published, reproduced, exhibited, broadcast, televised, copyrighted, sold, assigned and/or used in any manner
whatsoever without consent from, or payment, to me or my child. I hereby FOREVER RELEASE AND
DISCHARGE the Released Parties from any claims, actions, damages, or demands whatsoever by reason of
any such use.
8.
That this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if any term or
provision of this Release shall to any extent be held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms of the
Release shall not be affected thereby, but shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The invalid provision shall automatically be replaced by a substitute provision which is valid and as nearly as
possible maintains the same economic purposes and intention of the valid provision. This Release shall be
interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. I agree that any dispute regarding the
enforceability of this Release shall be filed in the courts of the State of California, and shall not be transferred
to any other state.
9.
That the terms and conditions contained in this Release shall be binding upon me or my child and my or my
child's family members, legal representatives, executors, heirs, next of kin, successors, beneficiaries and
assigns.
10. That I am eighteen years of age or older and have the authority to contract in my own name.
