The Outsiders By: S.E Hinton Rap Poem I'm a Greaser, that's right. I can fight with all my might! My parents are dead, Yeah, that's what I said. Barry's like my pa, And Soda's like my ma. They keep me out of sight So those Socs don't start a fight. Those Socs make me mad, And sometimes they make me sad. I went with Johnny to a hide in a church, feeling like a liar. Then poor Johnny died in a fire. Soon the Socs and the Greasers fought, And Dally got shot. Everyone was sad, And I felt really bad. It was really rough, But that's what makes us tough. I'm a Greaser at heart. Remembering that keeps me smart. I'm a Greaser, that's right! Me and my Greasers stay tight.
