Wharney Guang Dong Hotel
Wharney Guang Dong Hotel
General
This comfortable accommodation in the heart of Hong Kong offers a great opportunity to be close to shopping, fairs and attractions that this famous city has to
offer.
The main advantage is, however, the fair palace HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council), which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
As the hotel is situated in the heart of Hong Kong, you have all kinds of amusement at your fingertips. A variety of nightclubs, restaurants, cafes and designer
shops are also located close to the hotel, including a famous electronics store where you can find items such as cameras, recorders, computers and similar
goods 30% cheaper than in Europe. Before the entrance to the subway there is a 7-11 store, which is part of the well known American chain of convenience
stores, where you can buy food and snacks-such as breakfast, which will cost you much less than in the hotel. The subway station itself is just a 2 minute walk
from the hotel. By subway you can get anywhere in Hong Kong quickly and cheaply. The hotel also has a rather large gym and a small swimming pool which is
located on the hotel terrace.
To sum it up, the major advantages of this hotel are the location, tastefully furnished rooms and the modern well-equipped fitness centre.
Accommodation
In addition to rest in a nice room, the hotel also offers other attractive services. You can enjoy gastronomic experiences in a Chinese or Japanese restaurant,
as the gastronomic services here are quite varied. The Chinese restaurant, however, focuses on Cantonese cuisine. A great enticement for Europeans is
certainly the Scotch whiskey bar “The Canny Man”, which is the only Scottish bar in Hong Kong with an unmistakable Scottish atmosphere.
Rooms are of different types, from the simple Superior, through to the more elegant Deluxe and also the Executive, which is available in either Japanese or
European style.
