September 18th Mail & Phone Bid
American Pottery Auction
Dear Friends and Customers,
Thank you for purchasing our mail bid catalog. To insure the success of this, our
first sale this Fall, we do encourage you to bid early. We have accumulated a
variety of designs and factories, each of which is desirable in its own right. We hope you
find something to your liking that will fit into your collection. For your convenience, be
sure you phone ahead if you wish to schedule a viewing appointment.
A note on damage and repair: Stoneware was not originally intended as elegant,
expensive objects created strictly for beauty and display. They were utilitarian use. We also
strongly feel that these minor chips, age lines and repairs do not detract from the overall
value or beauty of each piece. We hope you share our opinion in determining your selections and bid amounts.
We greatly appreciate your participation and welcome any questions or comments
you might have. Thank you in advance for your support and GOOD LUCK!
