ITEM NO. 2: 00 4114 – Bid Forms Use the attached Combined Bid Form for optional combined bids for this project and the Auxiliary Gym. ITEM NO. 3: Section 01 1000 – Summary of Work Paragraph 1.04.A.2: a. Notice to Proceed for the north addition will be approximately one week after the March 28, 2016 school board meeting. b. Notice to Proceed for the front entrance and administrative offices shall be May 27, 2016. All long lead items for this work shall be purchased and ready for installation by this date. Last day of school for students this year is Thursday 5/26/16. (subject to change) b. Start of 2016/2017 school year is 8/29/16. 2. Buses will drop off and pick up students in the existing parking lot north of the High School for the remainder of this current school year. Buses will use the lot from 7:45 am to 8:00 am in the morning and from 2:45 pm to 3:05 pm in the afternoon. Maintain a safe access and egress route from buses during these time periods. They will not use this lot for the start of the 2016/2017 school year. 3. The fenced in construction area for each project shall be as follows: a. North HS addition shall have an area that is +/- 15’ wider than the addition (each side) and extend north to the transformer in the parking lot. b. Auxiliary gym shall have an area south of the existing athletic building entrance (maintain entrance to athletic building) to the midpoint between the first and second row of light poles in the student lot that is east of the HS. A 30’ section of pavement shall be left for access to baseball and softball fields. c. An area in front of the HS entrance will be available for the summer of 2016 for the administrative office renovation and front entrance construction that extends from the east side of the main entrance to the courtyard between the ES and MS. 4. All utilities shall be located in the field prior to digging for new utilities. There shall be no directional boring for the project as indicated on the ME drawings; all work shall be open cut with no additional cost to the Owner for locating utilities or repair to utilities if they are damaged. a. All underground utility work in the North parking lot shall be finished before the start of the 2016/2017 to ensure safe usage of the parking lot. 5. A combination bid form will be provided via addendum. a. If one contractor gets both projects only one project superintendent is required. 6. Contract shall complete / obtain a temporary occupancy permit for the administrative office work. This shall be coordinated with the Wood County building department upon start of the work. 7. Trailer area will be by the Aux. Gym in side construction fencing. a. If separate contracts are awarded; there will be room by front entrance for a trailer. 8.
