Program Offerings Delivery and installation of energy efficient upgrades including : Lighting upgrades ENERGY STAR® appliances Hot water efficiency measures Weatherization and insulation upgrades for electrically heated homes All upgrades free and fully installed. There is never any cost to participants! Potential Installs on st 1 Visit Potential Appliance Replacements Appliances owned by the applicant (except in the case of social housing) fridge chest freezer window air conditioner dehumidifier All equipment is new and Energy Star rated * Replacements are of equivalent size Electrically Heated Homes • May Qualify For: Air Sealing, Insulation, Programmable Thermostat, Follow-up Energy Assessment • Based on Results of Efficiency Audit Housing Eligibility • Any house or apartment (i.e. townhome, single family detached, semi or mobile home. • If you are a homeowner/tenant, you must be paying your own electricity (or live in social housing). • For tenant in a social and/or assisted building, the housing provider will apply on your behalf. 7 Eligibility Criteria – One of: a) Income Criteria Permanent Members of Household Before Tax Household Income Cut-Off (All persons over 18 years of age ) 1 $31,452 2 $39,155 3 $48,137 4 $58,444 5 $66,288 6 $74,760 7 or more $83,236 b) Social Benefit OR Receive one or more of the following for the last 12 months: • • • • • • • Ontario Works Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) National Child Benefit Supplement (NCBS) Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) Allowance for Seniors Allowance for the Survivor LEAP – Utility Low Income Energy Assistance Program grant (within the last 12 months) Eligibility Criteria OR c) A Resident of Social / Assisted Housing Residential social housing includes all non-profit housing developed, acquired or operated under a federal, provincial or municipally funded program including shelters/hostels.
