With nearly 100 million books sold worldwide over the last fifty years, Key Words has helped generations of children learn to read. So what are key words? These are the most frequently occurring words in the Read it yourself Key Words with I’m Ready... English language. This builds confidence in children when they recognize these key words on sight (also known as the ‘look and say’ method of learning). Examples of key words are: the, one, two, he.
