Campers may register for more than one site. Total fees for all sites of the first night rented must be paid in full at the time of registration. If the person registering is a Golden Buckeye Cardholder, the GBC discount is only given for one site, regardless of how many sites are being rented. Please post the camping receipt on the lot marker so that other campers will know the site is not available. Two camping units and a dining/screen tent are permitted on each site, with maximum combined floor space less than 200 square feet. Ottawa County Health Department requires 10’ spacing between tents/campers on different sites and 5’ between campers/tents on the same site. Juvenile campers must be with their parents, or must provide written permission from their parents, which includes full names and address of the parent or guardian along with a telephone number where they can be reached at all times. A maximum of six persons are permitted per campsite; 14 day limit out of a 30 day period. One picnic table and one fire ring are provided per lot. Fires are permitted only in the fire rings. Please do not move the fire rings. Fish cleaning and disposal of fish remains must be done at the fish cleaning station located near the boat ramp. Pets are permitted in designated areas only. Pets must be kept on a leash (6ft. maximum length). Please clean up after your pet at all times in all areas of the park. Pets are not permitted in the restrooms, playgrounds, shower houses, camp store, or on the Lake Erie swimming beach area. Do not leave your pet unattended even for just an hour. Proof of rabies vaccination, for pets, must be available if requested. Shower houses are cleaned daily. Please use another campground facility when a shower house is closed. Quiet hours start at 10:00pm (Unless posted differently because of programs/holidays...). All refuse must be placed in the provided dumpsters. Please, do not leave litter in fire rings or at campsite. All vehicles and campers must remain on the roads and campsite pads provided for such. One boat and trailer per lot as long as it fits on the paved pad. Extra boats and trailers must be parked in a designated boat trailer parking area. Extra vehicles must be parked in the Visitor’s parking lot. All vehicles must display a valid car pass to enter the campground. One vehicle per site except that two are permitted on pull through sites. For the safety of all campers and visitors, please observe the speed limit of 10MPH everywhere in the campground. Park rules and all State laws are enforced by the Park Officers. Should problems arise, please notify someone at the camp store, Ranger office or dial 911 day or night. Intoxicating beverages shall not be overtly or publicly consumed or displayed. Metal detectors are permitted on sand beaches only. The Nature Center is open to the public during posted hours. Everyone is invited to take part in the programs and nature hikes. Schedules listing the times of the programs are posted throughout the campground. We appreciate your efforts to keep the area clean and quiet. When checking out of the campground, please drop any expired passes or camp receipts in the box at the exit gate. Don’t forget to visit Marblehead Lighthouse State Park while in the area!
