In 2003 during a particularly introspective time in her life, Bridget was inspired by her 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son and their natural inclination to want to help others. Instead of ‘what difference can I make the issue is too big’, it was that her children said, ‘I can make a difference.” and then she gave ways in which she could do things to help the situation. “If we can empower and support kids while they have the inclination and the creativity, they and society are both better for it.” The beauty of this concept is that kids are already doing amazing things. All we have to do is tell people about, and by doing so, we’ll inspire others kids to get involved. See www. ripplekids.com for further details.
