All rooms have private furnished balconies and a king or two

Indoors, Oltremare Ristorante infuses traditional Italian
cuisine with a tropical twist. Serving breakfast and dinner,
this Islamorada favorite showcases the Keys’ plentiful fresh

Oltremare Bar offers an extensive wine list alongside a menu
of classic cocktails and signature drinks.
Sparrows Rum Bar is a breezy poolside spot for classic
American cuisine and tropical cocktails against a backdrop
of blue skies and swaying palm trees. Fresh fish tacos,
grilled jumbo shrimp and Key lime pie are among the
menu highlights.

facility, offers diving, snorkeling, waverunners, kayaks

If you decide to leave the resort to explore Islamorada,
let us do the driving. Our complimentary shuttle will
take you within a four mile radius of the resort which
includes Islamorada’s best local restaurants, shopping
and marinas as well as the popular art district.

meeting room accommodating 50 guests for

and beautifully landscaped event lawn are exquisite locations

For anniversaries, wedding receptions, birthdays and family
reunions, we offer deliciously catered events. Celebrate
poolside at Sparrows Tiki Deck, which accommodates up to 20
guests, in the “Glass Bowl” indoor meeting space, accommodating up to 50 guests, or on our beach which can accommodate up to 100 of your guests.

Resort Guidelines
• Per Monroe County Noise Ordinance, all events must end by 10:00pm on Sunday through Thursday and
11:00pm on Friday & Saturday.
• Fireworks are not permitted to be set off on the grounds of the resort.
• Grilling is not permitted upstairs or on the balconies (includes charcoal, electric, propane).
• No glass is permitted in the pool area.
• No radios are permitted in the pool area.
• No coolers permitted at the beach or pool.
• Resort dress code requires cover ups be worn in lobby and restaurant after 5:00pm.
Alcoholic Beverages
The Florida State Liquor Commission regulates the sales and service of alcoholic beverages. Amara Cay Resort is
responsible for administration of these regulations. All events where alcoholic beverages are consumed require
attendance of TIPS certified beverage server(s) provided by the Amara Cay Resort. The resort will determine the
minimum number of beverage servers. Per Florida State Law, alcoholic beverages of any kind will not be permitted to be brought into the resort by the client or guests of the clients. Florida State Laws further prohibits the
removal of alcoholic beverages, purchased by the resort, for the client’s consumption. Price and product lists are
subject to change without notice.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How many people can this location accommodate?
Amara Cay can accommodate weddings and events for up to 100 guests.
2. How long will I have use of the event space(s) I reserve? Is there an overtime fee if I stay
longer?
Our wedding packages include up to four hours, however, you can rent the space longer for an additional hour
site fee and bar fee. All events must end by 11:00pm per the Monroe County noise ordinance.
3. Can I bring my own wine, beer or champagne, and other alcohol?
Amara Cay Resort must provide all food and beverage items.
4. Are there restrictions on a time by which the music must end? Can the venue accommodate
a DJ or live band?
All music and events must end by 10:00pm (Sun-Thurs) and 11:00pm (Fri & Sat) per the noise ordinance of
Monroe County. Amara Cay can accommodate a DJ or live band.
5. Do you offer on-site coordination? Will the coordinator supervise day-of?
Yes, our on-site coordinator does supervise the day-of. There is a charge of $500 for our day of coordinator if
the wedding party does not have one.
6. Can I hire my own vendors (caterer, coordinator, DJ, etc.), or must I select from a preferred
vendor list?
We do prefer that you use a vendor from our local vendors list. These are trusted and well respected vendors
with a proven record of success here in Islamorada. The use of an unlisted vendor, all required documentation including but not limited to vendor license and insurance must be submitted for approval by the General
Manager or Sales Manager.
7. Do you have signage or other aids to direct guests to my event?
Amara Cay does not provide signage, however, the wedding party may provide and put signs up on property
to direct guests to their event with advance notice if approved by the General Manager or Sales Manager.
