We welcome you to spend the day with us, enjoying local artisans, music & food!
VOLKSMARCH
Starts at 10 am. Walkers can walk anytime during the day. Sponsored by the Bloomington Walking Club.
Will be 5k and 10k. Indiana Historic Pathways have t-shirts for purchase and stamps to collect. There will
be 8 historical sites along the route where walkers will stop and listen to information about the site.
BEGIN AT ONE OF THE TWO HOSPITALITY CENTERS to pick up a map & list of activities:
BROWNSTOWN HISTORY CENTER — 105 Sugar Street, across from the Courthouse
WR EWING — 1105 West Spring Street
Shuttle will run continuously between the 2 locations all day
Old Fashioned Trolley Car will also be giving rides
 Bake Sales from local churches and organizations
 Food Vendors at History and WR Ewing (includes Pork Burgers, Pulled
Pork and more)
 Local Restaurants that will be open: Blondie’s Pizza, Snappy Tomato/
Subway, Dairy Queen, Michie’s, Azteca Mexican, McDonald’s
 Local Artisans set up at Local Businesses will include arts and crafts,
painting, pottery, and much more!
 Special Kids’ crafts and art area
 Silent Auction all day at WR Ewing
 Jackson Co Community Theater production “Catfish Moon” at 7:30 pm
 Entertainment all day at both locations:
