Adventure Myanmar www.edelweissbike.com 3MY Tours on: BMW / Ducati / Harley-Davidson® / Triumph / Vespa » 2,350 tours in over 180 destinations and 36 years of experience! « Myanmar | Thailand Few tourists have entered Myanmar on a motorcycle. Come with us and become one of the fortunate few! “This is Burma and it is unlike any land you know about.“ (Rudolf Kipling, Letters from the East, 1898) This famous quote from Kipling perfectly describes the remote charm of this fascinating country. Myanmar has been separated from the rest of the world for most of its history, preserving a state of historic uniqueness that has long been lost to the rest of Southeast Asia. Very few motorcyclists have had the privilege of venturing into such a breathtaking region, where unspoiled landscapes and golden stupas decorate a beguiling and welcoming culture. The travel may not always be easy… but will always be worthwhile! Through beautiful mountain territory we will ride to Inle Lake, where you can take a boat tour to explore the pristine lake area, floating villages and the amazing Indein. Our next stop will be Bagan, where we will enjoy its many temples. If you want to experience something special, you way also take an optional, early morning balloon flight over the temple complex. By the time we arrive back in Chiang Mai we can truly claim to have had a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Official Travel Partner Testimonials Adventure Myanmar Our Adventure Myanmar tour with Edelweiss was something very special. First of all, we just so much enjoyed riding the roads in Northern Thailand. The roads are wide and well paved – mountain roads with tight curves and little traffic. We just could not stop smiling while navigating our bikes towards the border. After entering Myanmar, we quickly realized that our off-road experience would be handy. Myanmar is a very impressive country and we enjoyed the cultural highlights, especially the Buddhist monuments. People in Myanmar are very friendly and we always felt very welcome, no matter where we went. Wherever we stopped we were surrounded by kids and teenagers who looked at our bikes – a wild discussion with hands and feet helped explain to them the reason for our travel. This tour will stay in our memory as a great and different journey. Marianne Goder & Josef Frauscher, Austria Impressions
