the lifeline of the Pasadena
Chamber of Commerce; your support and dedication
is what makes our chamber grow and prosper.
On May 12, 2014 we had our annual golf tournament
honoring Shell Deer Park as the 2014 Industry of the
Year. The tournament was a big success, I had several
companies and golfers express their opinions as it
being the best Pasadena Chamber Golf Tournament
they had attended. As we continue to make strides in
our community and the City of Pasadena, we look forward to working with each and every one of you. Our
events committee is currently working on a family fun
event for everyone in our area to come out and enjoy
an evening full of fun and games. Keep reading your
Pasadena Chamber Newsletter for more information
to come soon.
We are your voice and source of information for
Pasadena. Stop by our office and visit with one of
our talented staff members for information about the
chamber and Pasadena. You will be greeted with a
smile and a handshake or a hug.
Hope to see you soon,

Motivate, according to Webster’s Dictionary, means to
move, impel, induce or incite. As a business owner,
what motivates you each day—even on the “hard” days?
Everyone has had those days, when nothing seems to go
as planned, finances are tight, business is decreasing and
your personal life is not even cooperating. Here are some
tips to keep you motivated and moving.
1. Keep it in perspective. It may be rough now, but it has
not been nor will it always be difficult.
2. Keep up your exercise routine. Exercising keeps stress
hormones down that affect attention and thinking.
3. Avoid negative people. Stay away from those people
who speak negative words to you. Do not even allow
yourself to speak or think negatively. Surround yourself
with people that encourage and support you.
4. Keep networking. As difficult as it may sound, networking can increase your business. People enjoy
doing business with people they know. Now is not the
time to hide out at the office. Stay social and keep networking.
Motivate yourself to attend our next mixer, Thursday
June 19, 2014, at Cleveland-Ripley Neighborhood Center
on Fairmont from 8:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Milestones
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has partnered with
Infintech to offer an exclusive member benefit program to bring
members much lower rates through combined group buying
power. With lower fees across the board, members get savings
that maximizes their profits.
Power of the Program
Members enrolled in the program will have access to lower
fees, utilizing Cost-Plus Pricing. This transparent pricing model
will expose the true costs of processing electronic payments,
thus eliminating the potential for “after-the-fact” rate increases
by the processor. The processing rate you’re offered through
the program will remain the same for the duration of your
membership.
Program Features
Here are just a few of the features you’ll enjoy with this
Pasadena Chamber of Commerce member benefit program:
• Pre-negotiated rates
• No long-term contracts or cancellation penalties
• Transparent pricing model
• Dedicated, live customer service
• No unjustified cost increases
• Discounts on ancillary products and services
