DINING EXPERIENCE
No holiday is complete without fabulous food and, at Jaci’s Lodges, our chefs are
dedicated to preparing fresh, wholesome and tasty dishes. Whether a relaxed African-style spread in a boma around a roaring fire or a more intimate affair served under the stars, meals prepared by head chef Matthew Mpofu and his team are sure
to delight. Menus feature fresh, seasonal produce and meats, and meal schedules are flexible, typically tailored around your game drives. In summer, expect
a light snack before your morning game drive, and a full breakfast on your return.
Lunch and high tea are served during the course of the afternoon, followed by a sumptuous dinner later that night.
CHILDREN POLICY
Children of all ages are welcome at Jaci’s and are especially catered for. We have a
special rate for children 12 years and younger sharing with their parents. Children aged
12 and younger sharing with their parents are not allowed in the boma for the evening
meal.
Children aged 12 and under sharing with their parents qualify for our special children’s
rate. Children aged 5 - 12 years are allowed on the adult’s game drive, and will then eat
dinner in the dining room on their return. Children aged 4 years and under are specially
accommodated on their own Jungle drive during the day, and are given dinner at 18:00
in the dining room. Child minders are provided as part of our service, during game
drives and dinner. Child minding at other tomes can be arranged for a minimal fee.

DIRECTIONS
Directions from ORTI/JHB/Pretoria/Sun City to Jaci’s Safari Lodge & Jaci’s Tree Lodge
Approx a 3-½ hr drive to the Lodge refuel at Sun Village, as there is no fuel available
inside the Reserve. After leaving Oliver R Tambo Intl airport, watch out for the sign
saying R21 PRETORIA / KEMPTON PARK. It is on the left, and the turning is soon
after leaving the Airport, so keep a sharp lookout. Follow the signs to Pretoria and N1
PIETERSBERG/POLOKWANE After approx. 36 kms you will see big signs over the highway you need to follow the direction N1 PIETERSBERG/POLOKWANE turn onto this
highway (you are now travelling in a northerly direction) and go for quite a while. You
will see signs for a toll road called Bakwenya Platinum Highway N4 Rustenberg. Take
this toll road. Once on the N4 continue in the Rustenberg direction - take exit R556
Sun City/Majakaneng. Turn right at the top of the off ramp to Sun City and continue
straight to Sun City (approx 73 kms to Sun City from this off ramp). (It is advisable to
fill up with fuel at the Sun Village, just after the Sun City entrance on the right.) After
passing Sun City on the right, continue straight about 5km until you reach a four-way
junction. Turn right to *DERDEPOORT.
Follow the road for approx. 8 kms, and turn left at the sign saying *BAPONG. Continue
straight along this road (ignoring ALL signs saying Madikwe etc.), after passing through
MABESKRAAL you will come to a 4 way stop - turn right to *DERDEPOORT after about
25kms the tar road ends and becomes gravel/dirt, the Dwarsberg Liquor Store is on your
left, continue straight along the gravel road towards MOLATEDI Village (do not take the
next Derdepoort turning to the right, continue straight), pass through the Molatedi village, over the Marico River and straight to the MOLATEDI GATE entrance into the Park.
From here, just follow the signs to Jaci’s Safari Lodge.
