(welcome!). Raffle Quilt 2014 Secretary’s Report: It was moved and seconded that the minutes be accepted. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: In Cindy’s absence, Mary Ann gave the treasurer’s report. Correspondence: We received thankyous from the McNeil and Teats families for the baby and fire quilts. Katha sent her thanks for the guild quilt that was sent to her in the hospital. The finished quilt was displayed. Many thanks to the committee and to Kathy C. for quilting it. Kathy C. will take Katha’s shift on Saturday to sell raffle tickets at the Chewelah show. nalize plans. Indigo volunteered to set it up. Kathy Conway volunteered to help monitor it. Newsletter: Carol B. has retired from her post. Indigo will take over emailing and sending them out. The meeting ended around 7:15 P.M. followed by the tea and style show. The next general guild meeting will be Thursday June 12, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. Because of the quilt show, this month’s quilting bee is cancelled. Ladies, use this time to prepare for Inez’s bag tutorial in June! The following supplies will be needed: Sewing Bee The guild “Sewing Bee” will usually be on the third Wednesday of each monthexact date will be announced at the monthly meeting, at the Valley Fire Training Center, from noon to 3 pm. You can bring your own project, work on a charity kit, or just come and visit every one there! You can ask questions, get help if you just can’t figure out a pattern, ask about fabric selection, lend a needed hand, etc. Bring your own snacks and drinks— and enjoy the fun! Be sure and tell us all about it at the next meeting too!
