Things to Do: Getting Outdoors

STANLEY PARK—this Vancouver trademark has it all! Biking,
swimming, running along the seawall with a beautiful shoreline and
mountain viewscapes
KITSILANO BEACH—between UBC and Granville Island, this popular
spot offers great views of the mountains and Stanley Park
FALSE CREEK—Walk (or bike!) along the waterfront connecting
Granville Island and downtown.
SPANISH BANKS & JERICHO BEACH—beaches, volleyball courts,
barbeques and green spaces- what more could you want? Just a 15
min walk downhill from the Peter Wall Institute.
WRECK BEACH—if you are feeling adventurous, head down to UBC’s
infamous nude beach!
PACIFIC SPIRIT PARK—plenty of walking or biking trails through the
