Center. Due to popular
demand, there will be a

Tournament on March 18th at
the Mathy Center.
Rec Pass
The Rec Pass incentive pro-
gram is no longer new, but with
many individuals making New
Year’s Resolutions to work out
more and lose weight, the Rec
Sports Department would like
to remind all users that they
offer the Rec Pass Program as
an incentive for working out.
Each time participants of the
program visit the Mathy Center
they are one step closer to
receiving a reward for their
hard work. The cost is $2.
Stop by the Front Desk to sign
up and ask for more
information.

and other programs, please

DodgeFest 2008
DodgeFest 2008 was a
success. There were 8 teams
that participated in the event
on December 6th. The day
began with a pool play
amongst the teams. Teams
were then able to watch the
celebrity teams face off. The
Firefighters battled against
the Z93 Radio DJ’s.
Following the Celebrity
Game, teams were bracketed
into a double elimination
tournament. Teams battled
and fun was had by all! In the
end, team Ram Rod was
named the champion, and the
Clown Punchers came in a
close second. Team Strike
XXX was named the Best
Dressed Team, and the team
with the best sportsmanship
was Hand Tossed OR
STUFFED. DodgeFest is an
annual event and will be held
again in November 2009.

The Special Events Program
has seen significant growth
since the Mathy Center opened
in 2005. New this semester are
more weeknight special events.
As mentioned in the opening
article of this newsletter, the
program has added three new
events to the Spring 2009
calendar. Special Events are a
great way to participate in a
physical activity, without making
the 5-week commitment of the
intramural program.
