STUDIO MATTHIAS GÖRLICH (Design, Research & Development) Taunusstrasse 45 D 64289 Darmstadt +49 6151 6697461 contact (at) mgoerlich.com www.mgoerlich.com VAT reg. No. DE239555747 Tax reg. No. 007 821 62794 Nov 15 The work of Matthias Görlich focuses on the creation and implementation of identity concepts, the design of exhibitions as discoursive spaces and the development of diagrammatic and cartographic visualizations. The studio works internationally on projects ranging from small graphic interventions to large-scale projects across different media. With research, teaching, and publishing as integral parts of the studios practice, we try to develop a broad understanding of the role of the visual in communication processes. Through commissioned and self-initiated projects in the threshold of design and the social realm we aim to question and redefine the role of our profession. Our approach is led by a holistic thinking about organization, hierarchies and dependencies for making complex structures accessible. Book Design and Exhibition Graphics for ‘Wohnungsfrage’.
