Dear Sir/Madam,
In June of 2016 our charitable organization will be holding an event at a Hotel near LAX with over
10,000 expected attendees. Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), an internationally renowned
humanitarian leader and spiritual teacher, will lead the programs. The programs are spiritual
gatherings during which individuals will spend time with Amma. As part of the event, free Program
Guides will be distributed to all attendees as a keepsake.
To help support this event and Amma’s humanitarian activities, we are contacting individuals and
business owners who may be interested in advertising in this Program Guide. The vast majority of
attendees will be from the Los Angeles area, the Valley, San Diego, Orange County, Inland Empire,
Santa Barbara and neighboring areas, many of whom are interested in holistic health and spirituality.
Placing an ad in the Guide is a wonderful opportunity to reach out to these individuals. In addition to
the above mentioned event, the program guides will be displayed and given out at our various events
throughout the year, thus giving our advertisers and sponsors additional opportunities for exposure.

previous years. The 2017 guide will follow a similar format with all the ads in color. Deadline for
placing local advertisement and payment is February 25, 2016.
Additional opportunities exist for advertising on a national scale. National ads will be viewed by over
75,000 individuals across the country and are an effective means of reaching large numbers of people
in diverse regions. The events are being held in the following ten (10) cities – Seattle, WA; San
Ramon (Bay Area), CA; Los Angeles, CA; Albuquerque, NM; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL;
Washington DC; New York, NY; and Boston, MA. The deadline for placing national
advertisement and payment is February 25, 2016.

Advertisement Artwork Preparation - Instructions
Deadline for submitting local and national ads and payment: February. 25, 2016
There are three ways you can submit your prepared advertisement/message:
(NOTE: our preference is to receive artwork for advertisements
electronically)
1) Send us your completed ad. via e-mail:
- We’ll process it directly for publication. Send e-mail submissions to
ProgramGuide@la.macenters.org. If you are familiar with preparing graphic
files electronically: we prefer a PDF file with all fonts imbedded, but we can
also process Photoshop and Illustrator programs with a high resolution
(minimum 300 dpi) TIF, PDF, JPEG or EPS file, all fonts imbedded. It is
very important that all files be hi-resolution at 300 DPI, and that all fonts are embedded
in the file. Otherwise your ad will not print properly.
2) Send us your completed ad. as a hard copy:
- Disk or cd is preferred but we can work from paper (a drawing, photo,
business flyer, business card, etc.) and we’ll scan it for the publication. If you
need to get your materials back please include a self-addressed stamped
envelope.
3) If you need help designing your ad.:
- Please email or mail a drawing/layout of how you would like it to
appear with your wording. If you also want an image added, include a hard
copy or email a soft copy to ProgramGuide@la.macenters.org Please make
sure images are of high quality (minimum 300 dpi) otherwise your ad will not print
properly.
Please note: Amma’s picture can be used only in Satsang ads. Approved
Amma quotes are available on request and can be used in both business and
personal/pranam ads.
