GM04 A “Hercules” corkscrew derived from German Patent No. 27,175 granted
September 12, 1883 to Emil Dunisch and Wilhelm Schöler. The spikes are not shown
in the patent but are placed inside the frame to grasp the cork for turning to break
the seal. Marked HERCULES. $2100

was also patented in England (No. 2,635 of February 9, 1900). A small bit of the casting in the
top is broken which does not inhibit action. Not marked. $175

the frame. This is a large version with a 3.75” long frame compared to the normal 3.25. $575

GM34 The “Goberg.” Each of the tools in the fitted tool
box is secured in the handle by a locking clip. The tool goes
through the handle and a 1 1/2” slotted bar slides into a
recess in the top and engages the groove on the tool. Tools
are hammer, pliers, screwdriver, awl, punch, and
corkscrew. One tool is missing. Marked D.R.G.M. 1903
German design registration number 208010. Produced by
Hugo Berger. The case is damaged on the ouside as
shown and one hinge for the top is missing. A rare tool set.
