Wedge Probe Cards made by HTT Probe Card Division
Wedge Probe Cards are defined as Probe Cards containing a Pin Count of less than 50 needles which can be mounted onto industry standard positioner arms.
Currently, HTT provides the option to have the Wedge Probe Card mounted onto a HTT supplied 4.5” Probe Card Frame. Historically, Wedge Probe Cards were
developed from the necessity to have more than a single probe mounted on a probe positioner arm.
Additional advantages of Wedge Probe Cards:







Wedge Probe Cards manufactured with HTT stocked standard PCBs enable short delivery times
Connector types can be customized to match customer’s existing cables
High frequency (RF), low frequency (LF), and DC combinations can be accommodated on a single Wedge Probe Card
Tungsten and BeCu material option for DC needles; metal, ceramic and microstrip blades
combination of several Wedge Probe Cards on one Test Setup possible (same types or different types)
Possibility of single probing solution via integration of identical and/or different Wedge Probe Cards
Customization for applications and Wedge Probe Card PCB layouts can be completed quickly and are minimally priced
